Oh well, just looked at the website. So much for reasonable. LOL. Still, I am sure they will be a great product. Just not for me.
He always has a sale going on so do check on that too. On the site he has 20% off going on currently.

Depends who you ask
At the JL prices listed I'd say these are very competitive with similar protection. Look at EVO, Metalcloak and LOD. Prices are similar. One good crease in your body from a bent or buckled rockslider and you'll be happy you spent the extra few bucks. IMO

I went with these from Rockhard. They replace the original sliders (not sure why you’d wanna keep both on?). $900 and excellent customer service. They accidentally sent me the wrong version but quickly addressed the problem and sent out the correct ones. They seem indestructible but I’ve never slammed them yet. I put skateboard grip tape on the top rail so I don’t slip getting in and out when they’re wet.

I have the same ones. They make the perfect steps for us. I really like their new sliders with the step plate as well. https://www.rockhard4x4.com/product_p/rh-80124.htm

Nothing wrong with bolt on, but I do prefer frame mounted. Dump the Rubi Sliders and frame mount those puppies... this will also preserve your sanity from having to deal with those body mount bolts.

You ultimately get what you pay for .... I'm also a proponent of supporting made in the USA
So a Cadillac being almost double the price of a Chevy is worth twice the money?

That, "get what you pay for" is more a catchall phrase to accept higher pricing.... and not everyone made here is quality nor value

Not in the overland/offroad market. There is a price point for quality product and then there's just brand recognition mark ups. And that mark up can be huge, as is diminishing return.

Look awesome. I had been eyeing GOAT's products for awhile, as I wanted to support a Michigan based company if I had the choice. Knowing that Adam was the owner at ACE tells me that these are going to be solid. I have had my ACE bumper on since 2019 before ACE was sold, and have been very impressed with it, and to your point, it has held up surprisingly well to Michigan winters. I will be sure to have GOAT be at the top of my list as I look for added protection. I am excited to see what they come out with for the JT.

I like them....... I am just not sure about them being below the factory rails. I make good use of the factory rails and would not want to lose any more clearance.
Any plans on them replacing the factory rails and moving them upwards?
