So, I just got my 2020 Gladiator Not long ago from my local dealership, But i finally had gotten around to getting the jeep app connected to the jeep its self after a few days after buying the vehicle. I was slapped with a Tire pressure Monitor System failure " Please see your local dealership " Notification on the app. Some things that I do want to note:
* I am under the suspicion that the previous owner, Did indeed kit out the Jeep. Due to some previous Finds " Cheap Made in China Knockoff Dampener was installed ( Replaced it immediately ) " - Due to the slightest Signs of DW
Drag bar was not torqued to spec and a few other things that where immediately fixed.
* The app does read out that PSI is in the vehicle. and reads it out daily accurately: ( I cannot find TPMS Within the jeep dash or on the radio Uconnect console )
I want to assume that it is possible that the previous owner maybe used a tool or bypass to disable these systems before trade in and the TPMS is actually not damaged or failing in anyway then other than disabled ?
I am planning to pick up a ECRI tool very soon to check these settings, And also re-calibrate my Speedometer, Due to the jeep previously owned and the speedo being off about 5-6 MPH under of what im actually going. maybe this tool can help reenable any disabled systems ? Insight would be greatly appreciated.
