Ordered wheels/tires on 11/27. Was given 3 delays for shipment, then found out today I’d be refunded because they didn’t have materials. This was my Christmas gift. What a joke site.

I mean, they gave you a refund instead of keeping you tied to a purchase that you might be waiting even longer for. It sucks, but it sounds like they made it right with the refund. Sometimes, you just have to look at it like a glass half full. Take the refund and purchase elsewhere. No need to make a huge deal about it.

How is that being screwed?
That stuff happens all the time in the world of supply and transport issues, which still exist.
I've ordered - only to find out days later "sorry, out of stock". Sometimes things just happen.
This week, I can think of so many many things to be REALLY upset about that the little stuff like this hardly is a gnat on my arm.
Check Perry Iowa
and finding out your drugs are going to cost you more than your your truck payment costs (bigly) and they still can't fix what's going on that has caused me to not be able to work in my shop for 2 months now.
I think the engine could blow tomorrow and I'd probably go "oh, well" and find a way around it, compared to the other stuff going on.
Sorry, no offense, but losing a black friday deal for non-essentials is not being screwed.

Have you looked at custom offsets website? I've had real good luck with them....

I completely understand your frustration. I had an issue with them as well on a set of fender flares. It was a great deal that I had not seen anywhere at that time and to this day. The website said in stock. No surprise it was delayed. I was willing to wait it out because it wasn't a key item I needed immediately. Delays went on for months but the item was still listed on the site as in stock but now at full price. I received emails every couple of weeks updating me and offering me the option to cancel. After 3 months I emailed for an update and asked why they continued to post the item as in stock when I was still waiting for the item. They turned around and quickly cancelled my order without approval and refunded my money. When I asked to uncancel the order they would not. The item never changed its stock status, only the price. In the end I always felt like they posted an incorrect price and just didn't want to fulfill it at a possible loss and thought I would eventually opt out. In the end I decided to go a different way and they lost a customer. I got the better end of the deal.

They're quick to take your money. No need for them to actually check if the parts are available first...

I've always had good luck with Real Truck, and even Quadratech and Extreme Terrain. The supply world is still F'd up and I doubt it will ever be back to what it used to be. To me, it is what it is and it sucks that you lost the deal that you had but it happened. These places are all just vendors, they don't make their own products.

I wholeheartedly agree with this sentiment.

@BamaGladiator You aren't out any money and now have the opportunity to possibly find a better deal.

I can empathize...last year I had paid just shy of $5000 to have a custom kitchen made for the bed of my Gladiator and after the guy had my money (earning interest on it in his account) for about 6 months, he told me he was having supply issues and would likely be another 3 months. He refunded my money without issue and I moved on. It just bummed me out that I "paused" my build for 6 months, lost all that time on the trail waiting to finish my build, rushed finishing my build and made a lot of bad choices because I was being impatient. The silver lining to this story? I found a setup that I am actually happier with now than I would have been, during the "off season" ripped everything out of the bed and started over fixing all the bad choices I knew better about but made anyways AND am undoubtedly much happier with the build now than I would have been with the original custom kitchen.

Glass half full bother!!

Cheers
