2023 Jeep Gladiator High Altitude Diesel
I ordered my Overland diesel on March 31st as well. I gave up. We bought a High Altitude Diesel Off a dealer's lot in San Antonio.

Good luck everyone else, I hope you get your JTDs.
The Diesel Gladiator I ordered and gave up on is finally in production. I'm sure there are pleanty of JTD's available, but I'll keep posting the status of this one just in case anyone else might want it.

Sitrep: so the one I ordered on the 27th of January just showed up at the dealership today.

The tale: Curiosity got the better of me so I drove on down to at least look at it. And sure enough... there it was. The only red vehicle in the whole lot. Amusingly enough, the dealership was wildly confused by it. The fact it has a 6 speed really threw them for a loop.

Much to my amusement, out of the 12 people there, I was one of two who apparently was actually able to drive it.

But the confusion didn't stop there... so after finding the key fob, more bewilderment from the sales people. There's not a single button on it. It's just a key. (Manual locks, no power locks, windows or seats).

Now what threw me for a loop was the instrument cluster... I've looked all over online but I haven't seen a single Gladiator dashboard with a physical fuel gauge. This one has it. Maybe someone can fill me in on this one? I thought they were all digital... hmm.

Anyway, general synopsis is... I'm back to considering actually getting it depending on financing and the like. But there's a lot of options to weigh in.

What did you order? What are the last 5 digits of your VIN? When did it ship?

Sounds like you ordered a real/true sport then with few options? My buddy picked up a hydro blue sport out of inventory from Orlando Dodge back in 2020 so I am pretty familiar with that key fob and configuration. For a while that dealer was cranking through stripper models like that. It seemed like they were pulling those from other dealers and selling them in Orlando. Before I ordered mine I remember seeing they had like 9 listed but they moved them quick. Idk who was buying them, because I assumed we are a minority wanting a stick shift these days.
Anyway for the 2023 models, basically anything Willys and up got the 7" color display between the gauges so digital fuel and temp gauges, etc. but the Sport S could option the "technology group" and get it too. I don't think it was even an option on the true sport models though.

I ordered it so long ago, i dont actually remember. Fairly certain its a Sport. Not sure if i got a Sport S. But i couldnt get crank windows above that package. VIN last 6 are 549639. As far as when it shipped, that's still listed as TBD. But from what I understand, it was finished being built Dec 12.

And yes, it is a row-your-own.

Yes, I got a pretty bare bones one ordered. Being a Chysler, I trier to get less electric powered stuff in it to inevitably fail. But I did tack on things like the offroad group, cold air intake, bedliner and the like.

I appreciate the information. I spent an hour or so last night looking at instrument clusters online. I could not find a single one with actual needle gauges. I guess I'm just surpised that they would make a whole different cluster for a package difference.

Still waiting...

Ordered from @Koons_of_Tysons_Corner 2/1/23
In Production 12/5/23 (10 months)
Vehicle Built 12/22/23 (Nearly 11 months)
Has been in KZP Status ever since - sitting on a lot or on a truck in Toledo

Meanwhile other 2023 6MT Gladiators & even 2024 6MT Wranglers delivered daily. After nearly 11 months to produce the truck, @JeepCares is sitting on it and dragging their feet to ship it & shipping dealer inventory over sold orders.

I suspect @JeepCares is intentionally stalling & waiting to ship mine until current 15% off MSRP offer expires.

When did you order? 6MT? What dealer?
I ordered a AT (unfortunately as the Mrs. can't drive a manual)

I ordered 8/22 (nowhere near as long ago as you), scheduled 9/22, Production 12/15, built 12/20 and been stuck there since. Had estimated delivery dates of 1/2, then 1/8, then 1/22, then 1/12, now showing as 1/25. My dealer says they see a "firm" delivery window of 1/10-1/14 and has even provided me with all the new numbers reflecting the 15% off, but as much as I want to believe it, until the keys are in my hands, my thought process is pretty much the same as yours.

That said, I honestly have a hard time believing that they're going to kill the 15% off after the 16th. There is still a ton of inventory out there for 2023's and here we are into Q1 of 2024. They need to keep their foot on the gas with incentives to blow out this aging inventory to make room for 24's, otherwise there's going to be a tremendous amount old stock that is going to just sit out there. They'll probably keep the 15% going and even continue to slightly sweeten the pot to sell through this inventory. But, I'm a "bird in the hand" kind of guy, so I'm good with cashing out now at the 15% rather than continuing to be forced to roll the dice.

Firm delivery window? Mine does not give me that info. What dealer did you order with?

Fitzpatrick Jeep

Could be smoke and mirrors for all I know, but thats how it was worded "Firm ETA 1/10-1/14" and said that it shouldn't change from that. Fingers crossed.
