Rear track bar for 37" tires

Looking for a rear track bar recommendation to fit my 37" spare in the oem location....

Please, i'm looking for a NON CLAYTON solution, I won't buy from them.....

Fair enough, although everything is going up in price even our beloved Jeeps. I almost fell out of my chair the other day when I priced an identical JT one year later to see the MSRP increased by $5,600!!. Safe to say I would have been skipping some options.

I hear you on the 5600, I had a 2022 JTRD that stellantis bought back, the 2023 replacement was like 5k more, if it wasn't for employee pricing to offset the difference I wouldn't have gotten another....

Rock Krawler Pro-X lift .... removes the rear sway bar entirely

But otherwise, Clayton and Metalcloak seem to have the bend in the middle for extra tire clearance.

This is what I have as well and I will say it made a dramatic difference in ride quality and handling.

Depending on your brand liking, the RK 4 link is darn near the same price of Upper Rear Links + Sway Bar

If I’m not mistaken I believe Synergy makes a bent track bar too. The pictures of the Skyjacker track bar show that it’s bent, and also affordable, but when it came in the mail there was no bend, even after confirming with Extreme Terrain that it’s supposed to have a bend and they verified before shipping, it was not the case. I also purchased the Clayton front springs diesel specific from them since they said in stock, only for them to take my money and 5 days later tell me it should be arriving in April. They gave me 10 dollar store credit for my inconvenience, I threw it away.

Can you please expand on "made a dramatic difference in ride quality and handling"? Removing sway bars can make a dramatic difference in ride quality and handling, but probably not a good difference on road.

Im about to purchase these control arms and would really like to hear real world experience.

First off, welcome to the Forum if this is truly your first post and you're not a bot

This system eliminates all the suspension bind of a traditional track bar thus allowing the rear end to articulate freely both side to side and up and down. It makes the rear end feel more planted around turns and keeps it tracking perfectly up/down when you hit bumps on the road surface. The 4 link just feels like it's allowing the rear end to move freely and on full droop the pinion angle is still nice and flat. It flexes off road over twisty side to side situations like it's almost floating over obstacles. Plus you get the benefit of trussing your rear end for more strength.

Essentially, I am saying the same thing that Rock Krawler's website claims... it's all true. My local off-road shop in CO loves the RK 4 Link as well and for the money and ride quality/strength benefit it's a go-to in my book.

Lastly, this is the only Rock Krawler suspension piece I own. My entire JTR is built with Synergy Mfg components. The Rock Krawler 4 link kit is just that good and I don't mind this mis-match fo the upgrade.

Thanks for the reply. Yes this is my first time positing on the JT forum. I just moved over here from the JL forum after selling my 2018 JLUR and purchasing a 2023 JTO.

I appreciate your input and explanation. I am familiar with how a triangulated 4-link works, Ive just not driven one as a daily driver and was curious of its road manners, particularly on a JT. It sounds like you feel you rig now handles even better than stock form both on and off road.

I will also have a hybrid suspension set up, with the only Rock Krawler components being the control arms. Im currently on a 3" BDS lift with Fox 2.0s. This dealer installed lift, unfortunately utilizes the factory control arms. And I know from personal experience the factory arms are about the weakest point on the entire vehicle; one drop on a rock and they fold like a taco. So, these will be the first of many changes as I fine tune this suspension.

I was able to fit a 37” Nitto trail grappler by letting a bit of air out with the factory track bar, it only cleared by a hair though. I recently put in the Rock Krawler triangulated 4 link and did away with the track bar completely, I can also attest that it is a really nice setup.

Agree with all the mentioned options, besides Clayton.
I run the Rock Krawler Pro-X. I would not run any of their other stuff based on some friends’ bad experience and some forum talk, but they’re probably still one of the better brands above RC, skyjacker, etc.
But, nobody makes a similar system.
This replaces upper arms, upper arm relocation or drop brackets (teraflex and RockJock I think) that allow more droop and better articulation/pinion angle through droop, as well as replacing track bar. If you’re possibly making those mods then the pro-x is a cheaper replacement, and arguably better riding.
I feel like axle is more controlled, notice less bobbing entering driveways at angle, speed bumps, etc.
