Will you update what you think of them? I have a pair coming and read a post on here where someone was dissatisfied.

Probably my post. Between uninstall of the factories (about 4 minutes), phone calls to BesTop (48 minutes), dremeling, test fitting, more dremeling, and just trying to make it all fit with a hammer (final resort but also one encouraged by BesTop) I'm 4.5 hours into this project. Had to stop because using power tools outside past 8pm would probably annoy the neighbors. My truck currently sits with naked pinch welds. I'm not thrilled.

Beyond the mnfr tolerance (or lack thereof) issue, it's also not a well designed installation. Making the mounting arms adjustable is a fine idea, but why on earth would they only be adjustable when removed? You basically have to guess where to install them, test fit, uninstall them, move the arms, test fit, uninstall, move, install. Who came up with that? Wouldn't a slider with adjustable arms where you can install the arms with some slack, fit them to the truck and THEN tighten them down have been more sensible?

Dude, I just used two wrenches at the same time for the first time undoing stabilizer arms ( is that what they’re called?) when I went to a winter jeep fest. Now in shaking in my boots about this. They’re on the way today too.

They aren't bad. Just take your time and follow the directions. I did it myself with a bad shoulder and 2 bulged discs in my back.

I agree. Seems like a nice piece but the install was very difficult. I especially had trouble with the front brackets. Holes did not line up well. The nuts that had to be fished into the frame were close to impossible. 4 hours and got it done but should have been a LOT easier.

Mine showed up today and looking fwd to installing them tomorrow. They def have a lot of heft to them... Bestop must have cleared a few warehouse slots with this sale eh?

Guess that's why they were over half off - the rails are missing the back half.
Can you post a picture?

Sorry this took so long. Let me know if these don't work. I struggled to get under jeep, back is not doing well right now.

Took me an hour and a half for the first rail but cause one bolt hole wouldn't line up. Numerous removals and adjustments to the mounting arms before I finally gave up and dremeled the hole in the bracket slightly larger. Second rail I had on in less than 30min. The rear rails for the bed I had on in less than an hour.

Overall I wouldn't have purchased the rails at normal price but for the discount and to make the lady happy with steps, they serve their purpose. They are thin and I am sure they will be replaced someday.

Installed my bedrails, did not want to cut my plastic bumper so I just drilled some new holes in bracket and relocated the rail a little further away from bumper. If I ever get that bumper I can easily install as intended.
