No, and that little 1/4" drive isn't enough to even think about breaking the seat bolts loose.

That small wrench does not provide enough torque to loosen the seat bolts. Needs more leverage with a longer handle.

I don’t have to regularly move my seat I cut a piece of pipe insulation I had laying around and put it there. Not noticeable.

I dropped some lock keys down the passenger side and they went right under the carpet where the one wiring loom passes through. My wife was able to get them from behind the seat by lifting the carpet up where it separates between the front and back pieces. You might try your luck with that approach first. Otherwise, you can pick up a set of Icon e-torx on clearance at Harbor Fright to pull the seat.

When you get it out buy some of this. Wedge it between the seat and console. Happened to me on my JKUR. I was able to fish the fob out with a coat hanger.

Just pull the seat, and yes. The tool to remove the doors and top will pop loose the seat bolts. I've had mine out several times (will again this weekend). I've never disconnected the batteries either.

Today my vape pen fell under the dreaded space between the driver seat and center console.
Not visible ast it may have slid under the center console and the front seat rail.
Any suggestions to retrieve it? Do I need to remove the front seat or is there a short cut?

I got something stuck there rolled under center console. Wire with hook and good flashlight will help with the fishing expedition

It is not visible. Don't know where it is in that blackhole of Calcutta. But I have an endoscope like device. I will use it tomorrow to locate it.

@Like-a-virgin and just read all the threads on here about simple projects that end up spiraling out of control. Plenty of opportunity to learn and get humbled working on these things.
