At first I didn't not like the Orange vent rings, now they have grown on my and I loke them. I don't like the Chrome rings around the speedometer and the chrome on the steering wheel. They should have made them the same as the vent rings ...
Does anyone make matching rings and steering wheel parts that are the same orange as the vent rings?

Not sure what this has to do with the topic.

@dayusmc there are lots of aftermarket orange pieces on Amzn, and to @Lunentucker ’s point, it’s real easy to have too much orange in there, and then it changes from an accent to being just too much ( ask me how I know ). I haven’t seen the particular pieces that you’re referring to, but I would imagine that someone could take them off and paint them. When it comes to the steering wheel, I wouldn’t expect many mods ( replacement parts maybe , but not mods ), due to safety considerations and/or airbag concerns. Also, on a more personal note, we all make typos and it’s a good practice to proofread a post before sending it, or else some folks will have a tendency to have some fun by mincing words.

edit: I’m still waiting for the day that Siri lies for me, in a good way. In terms of steering wheels, I’m still watching for the paddle shifters from a 392 on a Mojave accented steering wheel.

If you can’t find the exact color you want you can always buy some from the Amazon rainforest and paint them to match.

Thank you for the replys. The pieces they sell on Amazon are covers and are not the same color orange.
I was looking for replacement pieces that are the same color orange as the vent rings. I guess I will just have to have them custom painted...
Yes to much orange or mismatched orange looks bad. So do too many accessories that a lot of people put on their jeeps. I keep my jeep almost stock looking. Otherwise I would just have bought those gaudy trim cover rings off of Amazon. I also think the chrome looks bad, they should have at least made those speedometer and steering trim rings black and not chrome.
But if someone doesn't like what I am doing to MY jeep, they don't need to reply to MY thread, don't you think. Changing the Two mismatched trim rings on the dash to match I don't think is anything near as bad looking as say most of the custom leather seat covers, colored grab handles, or the stickers people put on thier fenders. Or even worse those insanely ugly 80s jeep graphics people on here put on there jeeps. Extra stuff like that is way too much in my opinion. But I don't go on their posts and comment on how bad it looks. Opinion is opinion and taste is taste. I married a little beach blonde and don't like brunettes, but that is just my personal taste. But I don't make fun of my friends who married brunettes...
As far as the typos go, I hear you. My phone is small and hard to see, I should use my computer more... But since I have to be on my computer so much for work, that would not be relaxing. Maybe I should wear my glasses more. But I do see typos in a large number of posts I read, those users probably need to do the same.
Bottom line, if someone doesn't like my post, they should just not come and comment on it.

You can definitely add a few accents to the inside and stay in good taste for most people, like you said, you do you; am just sharing from the experience that we had where the wife thought she would save $$$ by purchasing some ‘set’, and then we only ended up using about 1/3 to 1/2 the set. If you do end up changing the areas that you’re talking about, post some pics, some folks on the forum appreciate the ideas ( and you’ll have a few na-sayers ). Typically you’ll get bonus points for anything custom or unique, and in good taste.

My neighbor owns Urban Jeep Outfitters. I am just going to buy some stock replacement speedometer and vent rings and have him paint them as close to oem as possible, at least if he repaints them all they will match.
For the steering wheel I am going to buy the black pieces like the ones on my wife's JLU...
