My neighbor owns Urban Jeep Outfitters. I am just going to buy some stock replacement speedometer and vent rings and have him paint them as close to oem as possible, at least if he repaints them all they will match.
For the steering wheel I am going to buy the black pieces like the ones on my wife's JLU...
I don't know what your "tastes" are, or goals are, but some of the translucent paints out there these days are really beautiful. I don't personally care for the solid oranges used in some of these - looks plastic and cheap to me, but if it was a translucent color, I'd probably love it.

This is how my personal tastes run - I really dislike the plain black rubber knobs -

My wife was thrilled when I got these for her reign Wrangler -

I saw those and the ones for the widow switches. The rubber on my window switches is ripped, so I bought the Aluminum orange ones to see how they look before buying new switches.
I try to keep my changes small and subtle.

I saw these, they are actually what gave me the idea to match the speedometer rings to the vent rings!
I was going to attempt the same thing but started this thread because I wasn't sure if someone came out with matching rings since you painted your stuff.
But your posts are what put me down this path ??. I want to do the reb shifter knob buttons as well.

Glad to know that I can be a bad influence online!

Let me know if you go down the painting pathway and have any questions!

I thonk I am definitely going to have to have them painted. I am lucky Ernie from Urban Jeep Outfitters lives like 8 houses from me. He has been a painter for I believe about 40 years, his work is pretty awesome. I am just going to buy spare parts and have him paint them. I am really picky and I know if I painted them and they had any blemishes, I would stair at them non stop.
I will stick to the not so detailed painting like frame and rears ?.

I grabbed that one from FB a few minutes previous. Someone was really proud of it.
They wanted the owner of this one to see their art.

My neighbor did this minus the grille to his black Mojave. I was happy when he traded it so I wouldn't be so embarrassed for him anymore. He traded for something more embarrassing than the hinge and door handle covers though

There are lots of shades of orange, some more pinkish than others. The Mojave tow hooks are almost pink and don't match the outlining of the badges. Neither matches the heater vent surrounds or the orange interior stitching, so if you are picky you will have to decide what to match, and paint everytbing else that you want to be orange. I tried Rustoleum Husqvarna orange, liked it on some shackles. When I got the Agency 6 shackle mount, I found that the Rustoleum color was slightly more pink than the Agency 6 powder coat.
