Started the headlight install tonight. Ran out of time, and started to get a little frustrated with how tight everything is on the diesel. Easier to pull the fender liners down.

Been there with mine for the morimotos. Makes for interesting zip tie work.

Gave the truck a thorough cleaning inside and out, following a road trip to the Cariboo region of British Columbia.

It was very muddy; I hosed about 50 lbs of mud off the undercarriage.

Picked up my 23 HA on 3/7 and started with a few small interior MODs as I continue research on wheel/tire options.

For now just threw on:

RAM Mounts Tuff Track dash system w/2 balls - Balls link
Moveland Grab handles
Rugged Ridge Door Sill Guards
Passenger Storage Tray
Shorty Antenna - Not Pic'd
And a Gladiator T-shirt! (2XL and fit is nice!) - Not Pic'd :CWL:

After having put about 150 or so miles on it, its crazy how much drag there appears to be without a cover on it. Averaging only 17.x MPG in mixed driving w/the 3.6L. Maybe thats normal, dunno but in any event, a cover has risen to the top of the MODs list in priority.

Probably gonna pull trigger on RC Folding cover this week (mainly due to price point vs others I have had on previous vehicles over the 1k price point). A Tazer is also top priority to address some settings and to get familiar with it in prep for wheels/tires.

Wheels/tires or just tires for stock rims will happen a little later when I can decide how I want to address the front to clear 35's (leveling kit or full suspension lift). Budget-wise, leveling would be prudent.

Will add more here as things progress. Peace!

Afraid a bed cover will do nothing to improve your "drag" issue, so no need to rush on that one.
And if you have expectations that a tonneau cover will noticably improve gas mileage, you will be disappointed.

What phone attachment is that? I have the ram track as well. Does it hold your phone through bumpy stuff?

Took the freedom panels and the side freedom panels(doors, these have always been more what felt like I gained freedom when removed from my Jeep) for the first time to take it for a spin on my lunch.

Alignment specs after adding the MOPAR LCAs, sorry I do not have a spec sheet from before the install. Got the caster above 6. The truck drives pretty straight now with minimal effort. In my opinion, this is a worthwhile mod on Mohaves and Rubicons if no lift is planned. Glad I did it.

So those caster numbers are stock suspension? If so, I got 4.9 with a Mopar lift including LCAs. It's amazing how much that two inch lift, that ended up being 2.5 inch, changes the caster angle.

Stock suspension with Mopar lift LCAs (24 inches long stock rubicon LCA, 24 1/4 inch Mopar lift LCA).
1/4 inch pushed my caster angle out above 6, that's stock height without any lift. Drives nice.

I'm exploring adjustable control arms or geo correction to get some of my ride quality back. This is great info to have. Thx

Its a cheap mag safe option I found on Amazon that worked in another vehicle that had square or rectangle vents. Doesnt work the way its designed on a Jeep due to length of the circular vents.

Here is link:

I had to remove the ball and socket end of it, with the screw ring and fit it into the RAM Mount arm. It works fairly well considering its a blending of 2 holders. There some slight vibration in it bcuz I have a Pro Max iPhone, which is heavy but the holder holds my phone just fine. Doesnt fall off when everything (the arms) is tight.

You may be correct and I wont be getting a soft cover but from previous experience, I could "feel" less drag with and without a cover on other trucks. Not sure if that will happen with the JT or not but, I need the cover anyway.

Discussion on topic from Real Truck - do with this what U will.

Blacked out the rear reflectors.

Started swapping out the big gaudy Badland fairlead for a beautiful and cost effective piece from Black Magic Brakes/Wizard Recovery Gear. Need longer bolts though, nobody local has any. So waiting on my $20 worth of two bolts from McMaster-Carr

Think I'll black out this Badland logo next, just not sure how I'm doing it. No need to brag about my budget choice :p

Just black paint on the reflectors? I hate mine. I wish the Oracle bumper lights had a smoked option. Still deciding on what I want to do with mine.

Popped them out and wrapped the reflector in 3M vinyl.

I've got some reflective black tape I was considering using, but I think this is fine.

I'd want something reflective if I did much street parking.
