Last time I was running PINS, someone in our group got pulled over and he did not get a warning. LOL How was the run? I can say, doing the whole there and back in one day is a long day at 15MPH.

As a veteran getting on the beach is free and a quick ride from the house so I do it quite often. It's off season so it's dead out there and a recent storm somewhere has filled the beach with dead trees. Went as far as Little Shell and then it got sloppy so I turned back. I had recovery gear but by myself. I was pulled over in the first 3 miles and wouldn't think anyone would care after 10. Even they don't want to get stuck .
15mph is impossible. It is over 60 miles long and, at times, flat and all to yourself. Good luck in your self restraint!

Cruise control set on 10, bungee cord around steering wheel and grab handle, top off, doors off, windshield down on hood for 60 mile round trip? What a great day at the beach!!

Caved and added front and rear cameras. Last week in a double turn lane I had a woman decide she wanted to use both lanes and drove into my front tire. Luckily no damage to the truck. Dented her door and put rubber swirl marks down the side of her suv.

Interesting. Well no doubt these will soon fall in the 'vintage tools' category as most people don't even know how to read them anymore since everything is digital these days. Even when I got them many years ago a bunch of guys at the shop asked why. Well...to make sure clearances and tolerances were right. I was one of maybe 2 other guys that actually used a plastigage.

I've used plastigage, plus lead wire alot. I have a gauge set up to read lead wire for labyrinth seals measurements.
