So my 2023 with 18k miles starts making noise and the dealer diagnosed the rear shocks are bad.

They told me that they are working just making noise.

Service manager said they got a memo stating chrysler is no longer buying products from Fox

The dealer ordered new shocks 3 weeks ago, but they are still on back order.

At this point I am open for suggestion…

The dealer did not say what the replacement would be…didn’t know.

I’m looking for alternative… I spoke to A Bilstein rep at one of the shows & asked if they offered a replacement shock for the Mojave and he said yes, however their website said that they don’t have any shocks for the Mojave.

I called Metalcloak today & they do not have a replacement for the Mojave.

I love the truck and would be willing to install aftermarket until the replacement comes in, but it looks as if somewhere down the road I would have to switch to some other brand if Fox is not going to be available

If they are working but only making a bit of noise, why not just run them? What kind of noise? I don't think a switch from fox is necessary, you'll eventually get your warranty replacements and I think your dealer is wrong. They are still selling new mojaves with the fix shocks. Parts will be available for a long while.

Other Fox shocks, like the 2.5 adjustable, are fine. It is the Fox Mojave shocks that are an issue. Do a search and you will find plenty of threads. The biggest issue is going to be replacing the front shocks due to the bolt size.

They’re rebuildable. I’d find a local shock specialist that does it. Buy some basic cheap shocks to put on in the mean time. You’d want them for the next rebuild anyway.

I plan to wait on the dealer, it’s free.

After reading other forums about the shocks going bad and needing rebuilt I thought about buying a set to use while the old ones get rebuilt. I didn’t figure that they would go bad this quickl.

They make a clunk sound going over bumps or tight turns and is getting worse the more I drive it.

People Work?
Mine have always made the noise. It's between a squeak and crunch sound. A squnch sound.
They work fine, and they only make the sound when it's cooler weather.
I put a little bit of silicon on them and they're good for a couple weeks. Then they let me know when they need treating again.
A few months ago I pulled them off and cleaned them up, polished the shafts and applied some ceramic/wax hybrid to them. Worked about as long as the silicon does.

This company was born from the owner of a Mojave experimenting with rebuilding his own Fox shocks. He obviously had some prior experience. I have not dealt with them, so I can't recommend or not recommend.

@Metalcloak says they have a Mojave specific version of their Rocksport shocks in the works.

@TeraFlex has a bushing set that can adapt the Falcon shocks to the Mojave setup.

Personally, I'd talk with the dealer and tell them to keep you posted. But also go ahead and address the issue with either the mitigation I described above, or ordering something new for it and installing those while you wait. When the dealer calls and says the new ones are in you can deal with that as you see fit then.

Went to the TeraFlex websit, put in make model… and it came up with “We can't find products matching the selection”

Rough Country said they have some that fit only it doesn’t allow you to put in Mojave as the model.

This looks promising thanks Lunentucker

They just don't have the 2023 year model in the coding.
To my knowledge nothing is different from 21-22 on the shocks.

A clunk does sound like a failure if it’s the shock. Yeah. That’s too quick. Hopefully they get it dealt with quickly for you.

Yeah, each I've seen out there, 2024s, all still have the same Fox shocks. It's the Rubicon where they stopped using Fox - and the lift kits, no Fox.

Rough country makes really poor quality stuff in my opinion.
Yeah, but you are the Elon Musk of jeep suspension running things that are normally only found on starship.
