Have my TF 4.5” lift ready to go for my 2020 JTR but losing patience waiting on my falcons to be built and am considering picking up used Mojave shocks and adding extensions. Probably swapping in the falcons once I get them. Is this a terrible idea?

How much are you going to spend on Mojave shocks? Seems like if you're going to do something short term maybe get basic Fox 2.0 or something that's the proper length.

I saw someone local selling them for $200 total. I’ve been considering the 2.0’s as well though. Called Teraflex this morning and was told it’ll be another 2-3 months on the falcons.

$200 for those shocks? Do it even to resell them. Those are like $3k for the aftermarket version.

Maybe someone doesn't know what they are and thinking they're basic stock shocks.

2” shock extensions and 4” lift springs might work temporarily, but I sure wouldn’t make that my permanent solution. The Mojave shocks are internal bypass, and won’t be in the correct range to function properly at ride height.

Who know the specs on the Mojave shocks as compared to the Rubicon?
