Got 20kmi on my Mojave, and dealer has ordered new rear shocks. Had to drive the tech and service manager around so they could hear the noise. The tech greased up the control arms and end links and didn't remedy. I was told fox shocks have been ordered and I bring it in May 1st to have them swapped.

Very interesting that your dealer is able to get Fox shocks and the dealer I went to can not get them.

If the call I made to warranty services confirms that they are indeed available, I may be shopping for a new place to take my Jeep for repair.

In typical Jeep fashion they have plenty of Mojave shocks for all of the ones they're building right now but none for repair as they allocate a grand total of 0% to the dealer Network and 100% to new production. They really couldn't care less about you after the sale.

@JeepCares why are no shocks available for warranty work but plenty for new builds?
It has always been like that. Manufacturing and service spares are two different lead times and order channels. Manufacturing always takes priority over service spares.

I deal with this at my work constantly.

Well I called another local dealer and they can order them from their supplier $660 each.

I also looked them up at a this websites sponsor All Mopar Parts.com and I can order them direct for $478 each.

You got to love technology these day… press a few buttons and you can find info others can not seem to find.

So my 2023 with 18k miles starts making noise and the dealer diagnosed the rear shocks are bad.

They told me that they are working just making noise.

Service manager said they got a memo stating chrysler is no longer buying products from Fox

The dealer ordered new shocks 3 weeks ago, but they are still on back order.

At this point I am open for suggestion…
The new ones are apparently Bilsteins built to MOPAR specs virtually identical to the Foxes. New MOPAR kits after purchase installed by Jeep are all Bilsteins. Another guy is buying a two inch lift kit and found all this out in another thread as he had a choice between the two. But...apparently wait times are months... The two inch Mopar lift costs like 1900 bucks apparently but is the only one warranty covered.

Apparently MOPAR has "broken" with Fox for some reason, likely shocks wearing out after 18K miles would be my guess. Supposedly Bilstein will be building future ones.

I did not read through all the posts here so forgive me if already discussed on this thread. I was thinking about Rocksports by Metal cloak. My shocks are making noise as well @ 33k miles.

These are in consideration for sure, waiting for real life reviews before I go all in. Especially at the co$t. But OMG are they sexy!!!

I did check with MetalCloak and they said that they do not have shocks for to fit a pure stock Mojave.
