Seat Belt Chime Deactivated

Used my JSCAN to deactivate the annoying seatbelt chime today. Will come in handy when I am on forest roads frequently in and out to get firewood. Hated it always chiming

yes.. just no chime

You can disable the chime without using JSCAN or spending any money.

1. With ignition off, latch the seat belt
2. Turn the ignition to run
3. Unlatch and re-latch the seat belt 4 times. Leave seat belt latch on the last time
4. Turn the ignition off

yeah I saw that video after I used my jscan as I was running a diagnostic

I cut mine off with a Tazer Mini. I don’t want to wear a seatbelt going 20 mph on sand. Also nice to not have one going 25 down Ocean Drive on a nice day.

You repeat the same steps and it'll re-enable the chime.
