Talk about game changer for glare and ease on the eyes. Was getting my fronts done yesterday and buddy talked me into the ceramic windshield tint. Very happy with it, no issues at all in the dark. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I am happy with it.

"Visible Light Transmission (VLT%) determines tint darkness in Idaho.
Windshields must have non-reflective tint above the AS-1 line with VLT% over 70%."

Just be aware.

Yup, all it takes is that one local cop that gets a chubby for it and a ticket a week can happen.

Or, nothing happens until a Trooper pulls you over and adds on a vehicle violation on top of the driving violation.

Forgot to mention, there is a loophole in Idaho. I have a buddy who is an optometrist, he wrote me a prescription for it. Just keep that in the glove box and po po can't hassle me much.
But they have to pull you over to see that piece of paper. Could be a potential hassle. Some of the small towns around me, they'd pull you over every chance they had.

I actually just got the tint yesterday to do mine.

Windshield tint in Ohio is legal to 70%

Hopefully it helps with the glare off my white hood.

I have 80% ceramic tint on mine and you can't even tell from the inside of the car. Never had an issue in CA or TX and CA is very strict on tint. It could be me but I also think it helps with keeping it from cracking or breaking. I've had a few rocks hit it and it has not chipped or cracked.

Too much hassle for me when I need a new windshield 2-3 times a year. Must be great for nighttime visibility.
Not an issue at all, drove to the gym at 3:45 this morning, nothing at all limited visibility.

im with the broken windshield gang and tired of tinting it.

In GA, you cant go below 35% (allegedly) in the front, but I see blacked out cars all the time. Most blacked out front to back.

" In the state of Georgia, non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 6 inches of your windshield. Front side windows must allow more than 32% of the light in. Back-side windows can be tinted to any level of darkness or more than 32% depending on your vehicle type. The same goes for your rear windows. "

holy shit they updated it
