I went trail riding with another Glady the other day. Had a Borla Attack dual exit and it sounded great. Loud enough to turn heads, not loud enough to be obnoxious or make the truck sound like it makes more then 270 HP. After watching a few YT vids, comparing the 2. I noticed they both sound the same and get almost as quiet as stock when fully warmed up and idling. So I'm reaching out to those who got exhaust setups on their Glady. What did u get? Would you buy it it again? Is drone an issue with these at all? is it worth dumping a grand for some noise? Anyone unhappy with their Attak and wanna trade so i can save a buck? TIA.

edit: I made an appointment at a exhaust shop. muffler swap, and tail pipe resonator delete. $175

i hacked off my middle suitcase muffler and had an exhaust shop weld in a straight pipe in its place, leaving the front and rear resonators alone. $150

I'm more than happy with my decision

I had the front muffler and suitcase muffler taken off and added flowmaster 40 series muffler where the suitcase was. The small, black resonator at the exhaust tip is still on.

Drones a decent bit on the highway, just enough to notice it over the wind noise. Fun to hear around town. Overall, I like it and the drone doesn’t bother me much because the wind noise sucks anyway. I wouldn’t mind adding another small, in-line muffler in the front though.

As far as Borla, it sounds amazing on videos so my guess is that it sounds better in person. If you got the cash to blow on it, then I say go for it. Too much money for sound on a 3.6 for me though.

Gonna safely assume you don’t wheel much out there in Jersey, I’d destroy that exhaust with the quickness out west.

Beach! Trails also, more clearance with tips off, not a ton, but enough for me. But yes to have the dual setup on clearance is a factor. I’ll figure something out, AWE offers a tucked single exhaust pipe option, not interested in that option. Would be nice to have a pipe bender!
