Hi All.

First of all. Thanks in advance for your feedback and thoughts.

Adding 37x12.5 R17 tires (Kenda Kevlar RT). Not adding a lift at this time for few reasons - maybe down the road. For now just planning to regear 5.13.

2023 Rubicon M6. About 10k Miles.

My truck is my daily driver, occassional snow/ winter only, dirt roads for camping and fishing … nothing too crazy, yet! Lol!

Interested to know if there is anything I should consider “upgrading” given new 37s? To potentially avoid issues in the future considering my needs above.

My initial thoughts (guess really…) are shocks, brakes … potentially steering components - Although don’t specifically know what exactly?

Appreciate your thoughts and feedback.

I wouldn’t recommend shocks at this point till you’re certain on height. If you go 37s, you’ll probably want to lift it down the road. Not much sense in buying new shocks unless the current ones are worn out.

A steering stabilizer will help with the heavier tires regardless of what you do with lift. I have had no problems with steering components other than my steering box falling off the frame. Unrelated to the lift and tires though. Maybe for now you might consider getting daystar 3/4” spacers for the rear and cheap 1.5” spacers for the front. You can probably tackle light trails in that configuration.

Save the money you’re going to spend on a regear and use it to lift the vehicle so you have some sort of usable wheel travel.
reason for gears is mostly on road performance. Also read about potential fuel saving benefits. Thanks for feedback!

I like Falcon, others like Fox. Whichever you decide, look at the through shaft options over the standard screen door closer types. I think the Fox 2.0 TS runs about $320 and the Falcon 2.1 TS is around $300. That’s my recommendation. I’m sure someone will chime in shortly and tell you that you need an adjustable one. 99% of people who own adjustable stuff don’t adjust them, just set it and forget it. In my opinion it’s not worth the extra expense.

Well I am your man my boy! I got 37s no lift on my Mojave. So here's what i'd recommend, don't use your swaybar disconnect and if you have to be very careful. you could rapidly delete a fender. but other than that you shouldn't have an issue. I also recommend somewhere between +18 to +30 offset. this can be achieved with 1in spacers on your stock wheels if you wanna save a buck. this is just to keep you from rubbing the frame and inner liner at full lock. You may also have to ziptie the passenger liner a bit tighter to frame as it likes to hang out enough to catch aggressive side lugs at full lock. You don't need to do anything to steering or brakes but i do recommend a brake pad upgrade to something a bit more aggressive but the rest of the components are fine. steering will wander a bit more as you will have more sidewall deflection but its totally fine. You may find that you have no power steering trying to go from lock to lock quickly or if it s too hot/cold outside. I'm ok with just strong arming it but if your not the apex design kit is a pretty budget friendly way to remedy that without going full PSC (which depending on how you drive, PSC can do more harm than help). Shocks? well you may not need em now but you extra tire weight will wear em out quicker, I'd recommend moving up to 2.5 diameter shocks, as to whether you need reservoirs and what brand, that's up to your preference and driving style. I'd say a regear is what your gonna notice/ end up wanting the most. If you thought your Jeep felt gutless now, well just you wait. To me its perfectly fine, it will get up to 80 mph and do highway, it will see 7-8th gear if you drive right and program your new tire size. You'll definitely be working on your momentum/pace skills to keep it moving. I also wouldn't recommend towing over 2000lbs with 37s and 4.10s. she'll just scream in 3rd most of the time. All the Toyotas i rock with can barely hold 70mph so its not a problem for me. but if ur rolling with newer rigs you may be the guy dragging pace.

Before I bought tires, I actually installed high clearance fenders and new alum liners - Hookeroad, so hopefully will be ok. Wheels are aftermarket - 0 Offset. ??

… Good to see there is still a little room for minor articulation. Pic you shared is probably the most I will do, at least for now. ??

i was thinking of bumping up to 37's but after doing this probably not. I think she will be a 35 lifer. I think i will go into 4.88's rather than larger tires. I like the no lift but maybe just do some coil spacers. these Atturo tires are awesome!! I would recommend these over the Kenda Kevlar. They handle really well. So far wearing really great and the road noise is very very mild.

Nice! You do you bro! ??… I thought I would be a 35” lifer as well, but could not resist! lol! I have 35s now…. Nitro RG. Was able to sell my 35, ended up paying a few hundred for all 4 New Kendas.

Probly opened up a can of worms with 37’s, such is jeep life, right! ???

I know you are saying "no lift" but from experience a 1-1/2" leveling kit up front with a 1" bump stop will make your driving experience much better with 37"s.
