Hello all. The wife and I are looking to invest in a trailer preferably a teardrop shape. I've looked in to bean trailers but as far as models or configurations go I'm at an overwhelming loss. Any tips or suggestions or even other trailer brands from my fellow jeep fam would be greatly appreciated. ?
Thanks guys.

We've got an Rpod 172 that sleeps the four of us very comfortably. The 172 model has bunk beds in the front and a dinette sleeper in the back. They are very light and tow well. We've been towing it for the last 4 years with our Audi Q7 TDI and will use a JT when we find the one we like (still looking, diesel Ruby).

Intent makes a nice camper too.

https://intech.com/rv/models/sol/horizon/

questions you need to ask yourself
How will you use the camper.
what features most important to you.

Ergo.
Do you absolutely have to have a bath?

Do you plan on cooking inside or outside?

Where will you spend most of your time, indoors pr outdoors?

will you have guests frequently?

will you be camping at campgrounds with utilities or dry camping(such as at many state parks or non formal campsites?

these are questions you want to sort out before you buy. If you spend most of your time outside perhaps an outdoor kitchen will be adequate and leave the inside for sleeping or getting out of bad weather. Many campers come with awnings. If not add a batwing that covers about 120 to 180 degrees of area around your camper.

after you figure out your must haves go look at some pf the models that fit your needs and budget.
one thing I can say for sure is the bigger the camper you have, the more stuff you tend to bring.

i am sure i forgot some things but and someone else can chime in.

My wife and I went from tent camping to tent camping with kids to our first pop up to a hybrid then to a hard side. And all the crap that goes with it.
Now we are back to wanting to be more minimalist with how we camp so we are back to a truck bed tent in the gladiator. Along with a cooler of food and some supplies absolutely needed that fits in a few bins.

We have had 2 different models, current tear drop is a Modern Buggy 12LRK, perfect for the two of us and the way we use it. Like others have mentioned decide how you're going to use it and what your must haves are before deciding on a camper.

I’ve got a NuCamp Tab 400 Teardrop and am very happy. I went too their factory before I pulled the plug in 2022. They are an expensive teardrop but materials , fit and finish are top notch.

I looked at a Bean, nice product. I think if I were going to spend that much on a teardrop trailer I would consider a Camp-Inn 560 Raindrop. Pricey, but less than the Bean I was looking at. A 60" wide interior model is best, and will give you a little room around a full size (54") mattress.
