I recently purchased a cab rack from Hooke but it was as too high for my ikamper to clear it. This product was never used and in original box yet I was told I could not return it to Hooke. If purchased on Amazon or Walmart I could return with no issue but since purchased directly from Hooke they asked me to try to resell it since my return was for personal reason. The phone number listed is not real or no one answers. Only google voice. This is a bit discouraging and I strongly encourage them to rethink their business and others to be very aware of purchasing from them!

Sounds like poor customer service, but did you not check the measurements and return policy before ordering?

I had previously returned something purchased by Hooke from Walmart.com with no issues so I did not think to check the return policy when ordering direct. This was my bad because who knew that the rules were different when ordering direct. We decided to raise the tent some so yes i
Measured but we changed plans. So yes it’s my fault but most are understanding. Oh well!

I recently went through something similar with another company. I kept hounding them until they agreed to give me a refund. It’s ridiculous that theyll take Amazon refunds but not refund direct purchases(which help them out because they dont have to pay any third party commissions). These idiot companies are just giving Amazon more power in the grand scheme of things, and they dont even know it.

Right… I even said just let me exchange it for something that works. Or dont refund until you see it’s in perfect shape..they said..
It seems in good shape, I wonder if it is possible to keep it or resell it locally?
Awful.

This is the second post by a member who was frustrated by Hooke's lack of customer service. Both are similar: can't talk to a real person, can't return, etc. Was looking forward to their upcoming rear aluminum bumper but am increasingly unlikely to buy as these bad experiences pile up.

It costs a lot to ship something that big back to China. I prefer to give $ to companies based in the US even with the understanding that some of their products are made overseas. That’s just a reality, but there are great US Jeep products made in the US as well. 813 comes to mind.

Next Venture & savvy both offer US made & US aluminum ultra high qualify rear bumpers and I’m 100% confident that a better combo of customer service & nicer people doesn’t exist

Same kind of problem with shocks plus they want you to buy but no customer warranty with out jumping through hoops think twice about buying directly from manafactors

A way better way to buy components like that is a place like liftedforless.com owners name is austin. Shameless plug for a friend but only doing it because he’s the type of person we all appreciate dealing with.
