I had new gears installed this week, and while driving home there was a terrible squealing noise from the rear which we determined to be the braking system. Called the shop, and the owner drove two hours down to my house, and said that when they re-installed the brake calipers they must have bent the dust guard (?), a shield that protects the rotor. He said he bent it back into place and all was fine for a few miles and now itās back to the loud squealing again, especially on right hand curves (which I donāt understand). Iām thinking the metal may be weakend from the bending, and maybe I should just replace these guards. Problem is, I have no idea what theyāre really called so I donāt know how to order them. Iāve been looking for parts diagrams but havenāt been able to find any. Can anyone steer me in the right direction?
