Do the wide track axles come with larger brake rotors? Or are all JT rotors the same?

According to Rockauto... all JTs run the same pads and rotors.

We did our first oil change and tire rotation yesterday and the rotors on the willys package are bigger that my jk wrangler. I agree with the above/ and From prior reading I also believe all JT rotors are bigger and the same across the JT models/packages

brake rotor size will depend on if you got standard axle jt or a maxtow. maxtow has larger brakes for the increased towing and weight capacity.

So I've got two votes for they're the same, one vote for wide track axle rotors are larger. 😃

Rotor/caliper are all the same size across the trim packages.
This allows the 17" spare to fit across all trim packages.

A 17" wheel is the smallest wheel that will fit any Gladiator due to rotor/caliper size.

If you want to do a big brake upgrade, I believe 18" wheel is the smallest that will fit.

Front rotors 12.9 inches
Rear rotors 13.6 inches

Diesel Rubicon (and I’m pretty sure max tow) have vented front AND rear rotors.

I *think* the others are not vented rear.
Someone go out and look at theirs?

Yup, those are the rears, fronts have 2 part numbers also.

Key is look at vehicle fitment at bottom, ALL trim levels.
The manual transmission is only listed on one of them. Just because all trim levels are listed for both doesn't mean they are the same, it just means it was available on all trim levels. If there are different part numbers, they are different parts.

If it fits all trim levels, then there are no bigger rotors. Rotors are the same diameter.
Manual transmission is not a trim level, it is an option within a trim level.

One could be vented as stated, or one could be thicker. But there is no bigger rotor.
Since Mopar doesn't deem to list dimensions for their parts, it's all a guessing game.
But also since they all come with a 17" steel spare, then no brake setup can be larger than what a 17" wheel will take.

Never mind the rotor diameters I gave and their source. I should know better than to try to be practical.

Oh, Mopar also releases new part numbers when an old part number is discontinued. Suppliers are going to list old part number until they sell out.

Yeah so I found the Jeep specification sheet off their website. It only shows one diameter for the front and one for the rear across all trims. Interesting.

They're pretty large, actually. In terms of size they are barely any smaller than what you find on the 3/4 ton trucks from a lot of brands.

Thanks guys.
