Not a huge fan of the high velocity yellow, but with the saddle leather I could get on board with it. With over a $77k MSRP, whoever ordered this thing checked every box. If I was in the market for a diesel, this would probably be the one......

I'm not a fan of the exterior color, otherwise, it's a very good deal. We paid $52,000 for our new Rubicon EcoDiesel, but it didn't come with leather seats or spray-in bed liner.

That's what I thought--I have yet to see a diesel as loaded as this one. They literally checked off every option package available. If it was sarge green with the saddle it would be the ultimate JTRD.......

Someone took a bigly hit on selling to Carmax. Just thinking this person probably paid at least MSRP, but probably a little more.
Nice truck though. I would rock just about any color besides pink.

My question is. It's a '23 with 5,000 miles on it. Why did they get rid of it?

It's hard to know. Jeep is a lifestyle vehicle for a lot of folks. It is sometimes the first depreciating asset that goes when money gets tight, income revenue gets cut, divorce happens, health issues arise, etc. Americans are living in very unstable times, and most are living paycheck to paycheck.

I'm not going to lie. We bought our 2023 Gladiator diesel on a whim. We saw the big discounts ($20,000 off MSRP) and jumped on it like a dog on a bone. Don't get me wrong, we don't regret our decision, but it was an impulse buy, mostly because 2023 was the last of the diesels. We've owned it for 5 months and have 1,600 miles on it. 300 of those miles was driving it home from Arizona. Then we made a 300-mile round trip to get the windows tinted and another 300-mile round trip to get the bed Line-X sprayed and a tonneau cover installed.

We have no issues making the payments, but it did put a sizeable dent in our home renovation projects and other investments. Ideally, we wanted to wait until 2027 to buy a Jeep Gladiator, but the diesel getting cut from the platform moved up our timeline by a good 3 years!

Poor financial/lifestyle choices, trying to keep it up with the Joneses… you pick which ever one.

Exact same position I was in when I bought my 2023. When Jeep announced the cancellation of the diesel, I figured it was now or never. I wanted to buy new because I wanted to be covered by the warranty as long as possible--The discounts made the decision a little easier..........

I noticed that many on the Ram EcoDiesel forum were doing the same. Quite a few traded their 4th gen Ram EcoDiesel for a 2023 5th Gen Ram Ecodiesel knowing it would be the last. Outside of the Ram, GM, and Ford Heavy Duty trucks, I doubt we'll see another diesel again in the North America in a light duty application. So yes, if you're a diesel enthusiast, this is the time to buy them.

Eh, high velocity and saddle brown seats is a terrible combo.
