Fun looking boat. Do you wake board? A power washer wouldn't strip the scum?

I take the power washer to the boat immediately after pulling and power wash it before it dries. Most everything comes off for me. If you let it dry then forget it IME.

I took it right from the dock to the town car wash. Got all the scum off the boat with power washing but a slight stain still is on the gel coat. Will take "the works" toilet bowl cleaner to it before I put it in the barn for its winter storage. Ran out of time on Sunday to do that right away.
No wake boarding for us. Just towing tubes and water skiing.

Try this stuff for gel coat stains. Wipe on/rinse off and it cleans back to white with no scrubbing or polishing. Oxalic acid is the active ingredient. Wear gloves. I've not heard of using toilet bowl cleaner for fiberglass stains, does it work well?

To be honest, you most likely had a clue about your stop start issue. If you are in the habit of turning ess off or have a device do it for you, you would not know the state of your ess. Every once in a while you would need to see if it still functioning or select the ess page and see if it says ready, not ready or battery charging.

At this point, it doesn't matter. Depending on your time and skill level, you can test both batteries after charging them and reset the IBS. If one or both batteries fail a load test or fail to retain a charge, you can plan on replacing both batteries. Just be careful with shorting out your cables.

I'll check it out. Thanks. Yeah, "the works" is great. Minimal elbow grease and not a lot of hard scrubbing. Just apply, spread it even with a sponge or rag and rinse off.

I have never once actually turned off the start stop. The feature never really bothered me. I figured I was lucky to get this far with almost 50K on the odo and never an issue with the vehicle.
