Looking for some general feedback from folks experience in what you felt was the number of days to attend EJS. I understand there are many individual variables but in general how many days seems optimal.

Cheers!

Thanks in advance.

Would've been a great opportunity for a poll. I'm going to guess that attending the events that matter to you will influence the number of days that you will want to attend.

Yup a poll would have been a good idea. As for events not knowing how it's run I did not consider that. I will look into last year's EJS to get some idea.

My guess would be about three days, depending on the event, how it's organized, how well you're prepared, and your tolerance levels.

4 to 5 days.
Do 2 to 3 days of trails.
Make sure to get out to the Vendor show on Thursday/Friday. If you do a trail with the Red Rock group, you should get a ticket to the raffle on Friday evening. If you win, it is awesome, if you don't win you sat for hours at the raffle. LOL
Also make sure to see the Jeep concepts downtown too, you can also walk downtown and do some shopping, if you want.

I assume by tolerance you mean to the massive crowds? I have seen some photos that look like Woodstock with Jeeps.

100% on the trails. Being new to this I want to earn a few more Jeep badges and to check out the vendors and concept Jeep. I also want to learn\experience as much as I can on the trails. A bonus would be to meet folks from the forum.

The Red Rocks 4 Wheeler group often offers different "packages", where you start on an easy trail and by the time you are done you are on trails that are a bit more difficult.
There is a first timer's package and a Sophomore package, do the Sophomore one . :)
Check out page 23 or so.

And as EJS gets closer, I am 100% certain folks from here will have trail meetups too!!!

I've only done one year and stayed for the whole event. I'd say plan on doing one or two guided trail runs, they are pretty fun, but leave yourself time to go play on your own. Watch the schedule for which trails are being run by groups and avoid those.

Go to the trade show on the last day, there are a lot of deals to score.

Sounds like solid advice to me - THANKS!

I have never been to Moab but I will be at EJS. Have reservations at the Hoodoo Hilton for 4 nights. Looking forward to seeing it all. Things are filling up fast so get a hotel soon.

I stayed at the Hoodoo in July. Nice place the food was lack luster... the location is central so lots in walking distance. Considering the Best Western or Hyatt Place.

Hyatt is our usual hotel, but we also play the points game with that chain. Hyatt place is dog-friendly and generally clean with a decent breakfast. It's way at the edge of town, so you won't be walking to anyplace to eat.

Decided to be closer to food. I opted for the Best Western which is right next to the last place I stayed at the Hoodoo have 1/2 the cost.
