Power seat adjustment vs stock cloth

I'm starting to look at new Gladiators and am curious on the extent of power adjustments, primarily in the vertical aspect.

In order for me to comfortably fit in my current cloth seats, I had to install Desert Does It's Seat Slammer which dropped my seat 2 inches.

I'm hoping the power seats allow the seats to drop an inch or two beyond stock height because I'm sure pulling the seat out to chop it down will be a little more complicated with the attached electric.

Can anyone verify how low the power seats can go in comparison to stock cloth?

What exactly is STOCK HEIGHT? That’s a hard question to answer…. Sounds like you should go to the dealership and sit in one and find out.

My husband is 5’10” and I’m 5’ 5” - we run with the seat in the full down position. I could go up higher, but I leave it at the lowest point for him. He often complains that its too high. It’s my truck…so he doesn’t drive it as much.

The power seats don't go low enough for me. Can't lower them any as the seat trim is in the way.

Standard cloth seat height is what I was referring to. Sounds to be much of the same unfortunately

Why would I go to a dealership 7 months before my lease even ends just to sit in a car when i can ask a forum literally dedicated to this truck?

Maybe you have the time to take leisurely trips to dealerships to sit in all their floor models but I definitely don't.

Research begins early. I have the time, just as I have the time to respond on a forum. Seat positions are unique to the individual.

Hmm. Can you expand on this statement, please. I saw a YouTube video where you can modify the power seats with Desert Does it seat slammers.

I sat in one with power seats when I was shopping for mine, and they don't seem to go any father up or down than the manual ones.
