Found something of interest over on the AEV forum earlier. One of AEV's employees made mention of a 2-door JT when they roll out finally and some members sources stating a January reveal. Not much to go on or based in fact from what we can tell but interesting none-the-less. Link below.

FCA didn't share much advanced info or schematics with vendors for the JL so I'd be surprised if anyone at AEV was made aware of a 2-door JT this time around. I HOPE I'M WRONG though I think a 2 door JT would be badass!

If they were it would mostly have been made out of a JL and not JT. Entirely possible to get a 4 door JL and make it into a 2 door JT without the JT schematics. Basically a JL brute.

It sounds to me that AEV will be making a 2 door JT out of a 4 door JT. So you will need a bunch of money for a JT and a bunch moor for AVE to convert it to a 2 door. I would guess well over $100,000.

This is not pointing at a Jeep factory 2 door JT. I still hold out hope but not counting on factory 2 door JT.

Electric jeep, No bad gas mileage, no exhaust fumes coming at you . Sounds good to me. How long an extension cord would we need?

That is really unfortunate to read and first half could essentially be anywhere from January to June 2019 for the reveal. Damn.

Motortrend says L.A. however they did not cite a source for that Intel.

Awesome find. The article sort of eludes to the LA auto show debut news as rolled in with part of the earnings call but doesn't say it specifically like you mentioned. I wish they would just once and for all say a date. If it's the LA auto show are we getting a teaser at SEMA in the next few days like the JL had? Very unlikely but would be a relief for a lot of us.
