Has anyone experienced their Z Automotive Z Locker Controller crap out? I've had it for about 2.5 years without issue. A couple of months ago I started getting the flashing locker light again.

Not me yet, 43,000 miles and about 3 years or so. Wires were a little small I taped and heat shrunk them to be safe , might be all it is....Jack

I went through a bad one the first time they shipped it out when I had my Mojave. The second one lasted the 9 months until it was totaled.

Recently mine failed as well. Upon closer inspection, one of the thin wires had pulled from the connector. I had to pull the connector apart and reattach the wire to the pin, re-connect. all appears functioning and back in order. For the cost of the bypass harness, I am hopeful it lasts a bit longer. Mine was less than one year old. Open to any suggestions to protect / strengthen.

Upon further inspection, this is exactly the case. Crawled up under there to take a closer look. Noticed one wire was disconnected. As soon as I touched the connector, the other wire broke loose.

Is it an easy fix? The longer you drive around with the locker alert the sooner it will move to disabled and not avalible. Didn’t look at mine as it is sealed up but they might be soldered wire and push in connector.
I would call Z-wave and see what they offer and get one in a couple days. Letting them know how nice it was, that you posted asking for help and that Jack on the Gladiator forum told you to call them as they are a stand up company…..Jack

Thanks, Jack!
I already fixed mine. Took the connectors out and re-soldered them. That's why I said, "Depends how good you are at soldering. Lol" Because I haven't mastered soldering yet.
