I recognize that terrain, Apache Wash.Wow, this thread got busy!
I went out this morning after a light rainstorm.
Grippy dirt and no dust.

Stock front tire is hanging in there but I shredded the rear on sharp rocks. Double Down is doing well.
I did the same thing but with a couple 2x4s. Too lazy to take the tonneau cover off all the way but I’m sure they would fit with the tailgate up and no cover. $45 bucks and about 20 minutes of free timeI haven't really ridden this year, but I did make an in-bed rack.

My wife and I just grab a rear tire and pull the whole thing back towards us, then unbolt the forks. Reverse order when we go home. Bolt the forks on and slide the whole thing up and in. These e-bikes are heavy as hell, coming from a Giant TCR composite road bike to these was a culture shock! But with a hip replacement and two knee replacements, this is the best my wife can do and I’m just happy she’s willing to pedal with me.I wanted the forks at the tailgate side, it makes it easy to roll the back in and attach the fork to the mount without having to climb in the bed or reach over the side.
They are the perfect combination.Gladiators and mountain bikes are an awesome combo...
