Just bought a 2021 Mojave Glad, It is sweet! I had a JKU Wrangler for 8 years and traded it about 20 months ago for Canyon. Just had to have a Jeep again. It came with 315's on it which look nice. Will have to replace by Spring probably. Just curious how folks feel about 37"s? They look great but long term? I am not real mechanically inclined so please keep it simple for me!!!!!

Depends on your use. We have owned 2 JLs and a JT in the last 5 years. I've never bought anything smaller than a 37". They are perfectly serviceable long term. Road trips, daily driving, etc are all fine. Obviously you'll get worse fuel economy, probably 1-2mpg going from 35s to 37s. My current JT Mojave has been on 37s since it had 1100 miles on it. 20k miles later the tread is still good, steering is all stock, shocks are stock, ball joints are stock. People will claim faster wear of suspension components, and I agree... but how much faster? We had 63k miles on our 2019 JLUR when it was stolen and it was still on the stock tie rod. Wheeled all over the country on 37s or 38s. Would you get 5k less miles out of one? 10k? Hard to define that increased wear and it's mostly negligible in my experience. You'll lose a little acceleration and braking, but in my experience is not a huge difference. Now if you aren't going to use it, they still look better on 37s in my opinion. If it's just for looks is it worth the cost? That's a personal decision.

My mileage has actually improved on 37s. You go farther with one tire revolution. I'm averaging right at 18.3 mpg in a huge major city. Science, bitches.

For real though....if you can fit em and afford em then do it.

My only input on the 35's vs 37's would be if you tow anything bigger than just a small utility trailer, unless you plan on a regear. A diesel might pull it off, but the 3.6 gasser would have a tough time with it.

I put 35's on mine the day I bought it. Here's a before/after:

I immediately went and got 37's. Here are those compared to stock:

Jeep Gladiator 35's vs 37's? 1000004925

These were before my lift - stock suspension.

I drove it for 2 years (6MT) and finally regeared to 5:13 last year. Best upgrade I've done! YMMV...

It drives real well. The 37's obviously just give it a more aggressive look which to me stands out.

It looks great! Is a 2" spacer life like AEV offers sufficient for adding the 37's? I mean vs a 2" suspension lift. Everything I have read seems like ok? Cheaper as well looks like

Depends who you ask
IMO the longer length of the Gladiator really looks best with 35’s and with Rubis and Mojave’s 37s. But it’s really dependent on what your use will be.

Thanks Scott. I am after looks more than anything so I think the 37's definitely look better as well.

Always go bigger or you'll regret it and sell the 35s for a loss to get 37s

Buy once, cry once
