If the '25s are 30% off MSRP what will my like new loaded and totally modded '22 be worth. What will be the actual difference between the '22 and the '25? Anyone ready to take that bath to get a new one?

I don't think the 2025's are going to be 30% off. I think the leftover 2023s and 2024s are going to be 30% off.

On a side note, you mentioned 'totally modded'. Oftentimes, modded vehicles don't bring any more than a stock vehicle.

I cannot see a current 2025 Rubicon with a base MSRP of $51K all of a sudden going for $36K MSRP. Would be great, but that is pie in the sky dreaming IMHO.

I've participated on the forum long enough to know that @Jrgunn5150 has a few insightful things to say, and perhaps he's limited to what he can say in detail, but I wouldn't blow him off. If he's suggesting that 30+ % is imminent, then it might be worth waiting until January to see what happens.
Maybe but it's all speculation at this point and if there is larger rebates etc it may be possible but there will not be a permanent 30% MSRP reduction from Stellantis

Exactly! No manufacturer even operates with a 30% profit margin per vehicle much less deciding to abruptly lower the MSRP by 30%

Again, at no point did I state MSRP would be lowered.

Whether it's a rebate or MSRP makes no difference to Joe Lunchbox when he's paying.

This reminds me of when Dodge discontinued the Viper. A few dealers knew what they had, so they raised the price many thousand over MSRP and sat on them for 3 - 6 years until they all finally sold. It was always interesting to see the 'end of year' sales and noting NEW Vipers selling like five years after they were discontinued. I wonder how many will do the same with the 392?

Got my 52k Msrp Willy’s for 38 before tax a couple months ago. I think comes to about 27%, so I don’t think 30 is too far off. There were deals like that all over the place. I think 30% off is the real “market adjustment” getting these things back down closer to what they’re actually worth. I’ve been checking year end pricing and have been sad to see hardly any deals left (nighthawk edition is up a full 10k here from 32 a couple months ago to 42), so hoping the good pricing comes back

good luck out there fellas

We should encourage our fellow brothers and sisters who were led astray and be thankful that @ZeeJay recognizes the error of his ways. ;)

I kinda fell like the dealers around me are doing this same thing with all the Chargers and Challenger Hemi's in stock. I still see lots of these Scat packs and Hellcats that are brand new 2 year old vehicles still sitting and they want ADM's still on them. They know that the age of the large displacement is over and they're waiting for someone to come in and realize that too and buy one at their inflated price.

resell/trade in values are in the toilet and will worsen with further discounts.
bought my ‘23 JTR in August sticker $61K for $40K (34% off sticker) plus 6% Michigan sales tax and a few hundred dollars in registration/title.
right away I checked carvanas offer out of curiosity, it was $41k when new and today it’s $40k after 4,000 miles. A month ago a local used car dealer offer $37K to buy it outright (no trade), not looking to sell just a dealer I know and was curious about the market. So basically dealer sold me a new gladiator at used wholesale price.
however it’s insane that a JTR ‘23 $61K sticker would be worth today $37K after 4,000 miles to a used car dealer.
oh, and there over 9,000 ‘24’s sitting in dealer lots in the USA and over 5,000 ‘25’s according to jeep.com

The dealers don't own the cars, Stellantis does.

Stellantis sets the floor.

This is why dealers are pissed and having weekly calls with Sr Leadership, other manufacturers have lowered the floor and started moving product, Stellantis has resisted, that's why they have more days on hand and days on lot than most.

They're running up against shutting suppliers down at this point, idling factories, killing shifts, while things sit on lots and don't sell, because you want to make X per unit and won't accept less, isn't sustainable, and they've been at risk of legal action for about a month.

Stellantis will be lowering the floor shortly, allowing dealers to move product, allowing them to fire up the plants.
