Bestop SunRider for Hardtop - How Noisy?

Will do... and thanks for the tip. So, is the tape necessary (or at least a good idea) just to hold it in place until you get the SunRider installed - or is it needed permanently? Just wondering if I should use painters tape for the temporary fix - or Gorilla Tape for something more permanent. I have both.

Just to keep it in place until you get it all bolted together so you don’t lose your mind when it comes out. LOL

Now that I think about it, mine rubs a little bit on the diver side too when I close it. Really never noticed until you all brought it up. Never bothered me and doesn’t affect it at all.

As someone who’s had mine installed since August 2021 with no rubbing issues, I’m guessing it’s an installation alignment issue. You do need to have it aligned correctly during install. Leaving everything lose until final tightening does the trick.

FWIW, I just bought my 2nd Gladiator and this one is a Jeep Beach model that comes with a Sunrider top. I don't know what I did without one. On my first JT, I was constantly taking on an off the front panels. Not anymore. Even in the SoCal winter thus far, I've been using it. No issues and honestly one of the best additions you can make to your Gladiator.

Buy the Jeep Sunrider. Yes, Bestop makes it but it comes fully assembled, properly, and fits perfect. Win win. Literally a bolt on. I have no idea why Bestop doesn't ship theirs this way and avoid all of the problems caused by users assembling them wrong.
