One thing I did also was bring A check. I showed the salesman the check, said this is what I’m willing to pay.When I bought mine (a Rubicon) last week, I had a total amount I was willing to pay. I asked them for that “Out The Door” price. If they didn’t meet it, I would have walked. I didn’t want to try to calculate their fees and taxes while sitting there with a salesman. If you find one, check the window sticker to verify to your list of wants.
Congratulations on your Nighthawk, that's a great deal and you deserve it!!!You can get close. I bought my 25 Nighthawk for $36.5. It was 43.3, marked down to 38.5. They took a little off and I had Veteran rebate which brought me to $36.5.
Good point. My goal was to get out the door at 45 for a 24 Rubicon.Out the door really means nothing to anybody else as everybody has different tax and trade in situations. You need to negotiate for the lowest base vehicle price as everything else will be added on to that for your "Out The Door".
I think $34K base vehicle pricing is doable, but out the door is a stretch.
@NewJT316 ...Hi All,
First time poster, long time lurker. With all of the discounts that are happening, is it feasible to get a 24' or 25' Sport S or Night Hawk Model for under $34,000 (out the door price)?
I genuinely appreciate any insight / feedback!
Agreed, since the national average sales tax is 6% ($2,040)........no dealer is going to eat an additional $2k loss....even if you're a nice guy and have a check/cash in hand.Out the door really means nothing to anybody else as everybody has different tax and trade in situations. You need to negotiate for the lowest base vehicle price as everything else will be added on to that for your "Out The Door".
