Just be aware that if you have a bunch of gear you'll find yourself needing to leave some outside if you plan to be comfortable. My 75lb dog slept back there with me.

No doors on the front!

That dealer specializes in high end luxury vehicles. Clientele has the resources to hammer them if they act shady. Clients have solid feedback. Dealer should be no issue. Check it like any used vehicle you’d consider buying.

You won’t use half the stuff on it. Purely for show. You’ll turn some heads. That’s cool if that’s what you want.

Bottom line - you either have the coin to buy it or you don’t. If you do I expect a post showing off your new ride.

Ok that’s very nice looking, in a big toy type of way. But the payload rating is the biggest limiting factor. All Gladiator Rubicons have a 1,100 lbs legal weight limit. With that said and all those accessories, like oversized tires adding at least 200 lbs over stock including spare, bumpers and guards, winch, rack, tent yellow tank all adds hundreds of pounds. Leaves you with a truck you won’t be able to bring enough adult passengers for seat belts, never mind filling up the draws in the bed! Pack light, bring your one best friend!

I have no friends, no family interested in camping, just me and my 14 pound mutt, so I'm safe!

Honestly, this really should come down to what you want a Gladiator for, and why you're looking at this Gladi in particular.

Don't forget that mods don't actually raise value. Sure, it has a lot of money into it, but (KBB) book value is still only around $42k on the high side. Is there $30k worth of work done? Sure. Is that $30k worth of work everything you want and will use? That's up to you to decide. Not to mention if you decide to sell this you'll be hard pressed to find anyone to shell out this kind of money, especially on an already 5 year old truck. IMO, if you have the $$ to drop $70k on this truck (must be cash, because no bank is going to finance a 5 year old Gladiator at $30k over book value), then I'd buy something not built and pay a shop to build it the way YOU want it. You can also find other well built rigs for less, or even rigs mildly built that might better suit your needs, and you can add your touches and probably still be less than buying this one you posted.

Regardless, I would steer clear of a blower. If you're not wanting to wrench on your rig then a blower is the wrong choice, because that pretty much guarantees wrenching is going to be needed.

So where do you sleep, in the 5' bed of the Gladiator in the open?

The rare time I find myself needing to sleep in the Jeep I just sleep in the front passenger seat. I'm 47 and fit and it isn't the best sleep. When camping I bring my tent now. I really miss having a 6ft bed with a cap for camping. Even the 6ft bed felt tight once I had a good pillow in there, my feet were often pressing against the tailgate.

It isn't great. The 4dr is much more comfortable for sure in this case.

I slept in my tent in Grizzly bear, Wolf, Muskox areas plenty of times, I spent 6 full weeks doing that 2 summers ago.

Good luck with whatever you choose. If you wanna go wheeling get the 4dr and sleep in it, if not get a truck with a proper sized bed and be comfortable.
