I have a '21 Mojave with stock suspension other than the AEV spacer lift. When I drive the truck first thing in the day, usually early in the morning when it's cold outside, I get a lot of noise from the front shocks. Not a popping sound but more like a rubbing or wiping sound. Within a couple of minutes it goes away. Curious if any other Mojave owners have had this. I'm not a fan of Fox stuff and in time I will be replacing everything.

Yup, others have reported this noise. I have it as well. Doesn't bother me all that much as it goes away within a minute or so. Some have reported success with spraying some lube on the shaft which didn't work for me.

Mine aren't making any noise yet. Curious how many miles are on yours? I'm just over 25k on my '23 and it's seen a lot of high speed off road.

Mine has 33k and it started around 30k. Mine had seen a decent amount of higher speed offroading.

From others it seems like that's about the point you'll have to start looking at either a rebuild or new shocks. I think I'll go with rocksport blacks once the stokers wear out, but I'm a @Metalcloak fan.

I'm thinking the exact same.

Mileage ? Yep mine wore out at about 40-45k had to drive it that way till 79k before I could afford all the lift parts falcon shocks etc. The Fox shocks are gimmick junk pure junk. Literally throw away junk.
Now the Mojave ones can be rebuilt I am told , I would defiantly get 10w oil in there instead of 5w oil. Those sucker's start dipping and diving just like the rubicon ones do right about the same age. They are just inferior to Fox top of the line shocks. I aint paying 4000k for shocks all the way around. Tried the falcons . I can attest to their reliability and strength I have had them on for 42k miles , No Change whatsoever still feel like new. And I am pussyfooting this thing around either jts into dirts rocks hill dips on raw dirt gas and oil well site builds 5 days a week.

I don't have any noise with the Fox internal bypass shocks on our JT Mojave yet. It has 20K miles on it. The big annoyance for me is the loud pad slap sound when the bump stop hits the pad on the axle. This Mojave blows through it suspension travel way too easily. The King shocks on my JLUR can take the hits much better than the Mojave, and can be driven more aggressively off road. It looks like I can expect these Mojave shocks to need replacing in another 10K miles. I'll be changing to something else at that time.

I used to hit the bump stops all the time with thebfactory fox stuff. After the teraflex spring based lift and Falcons... I only had it happen one time ( I think cause it hit down good) and it was a Freaking monster freaking dip at the bottom of a hill it is a wonder I didn't bust something else.
Now the Mojave have joinst inthe top of the spring well that contact the lower bump stop pad when you do a huge front dip like I explained I did. They designed then like that for sand jumping. However if it is doing that often etc. They are wearing out.

Have this on my Mojave as well. Spray the shafts with some silicone lube when they start making noise and they’ll stay quiet for +-5k.
