I drove both and the deciding factor for me was the diesel in the Rubicon.
100%! The diesel makes the Rubicon an easy choice!

My buddy LOVED his diesel but it ended up being a lemon... which was so frustrating to him, he now has a Raptor... broke my heart lol...

Find someone selling the suspension! They pop up every now and then... GREAT shocks. Hard/expensive to beat for sure. I love them, put new taller higher rated springs (winch, step sliders, decked, gear, towing, it gets heavy for these softies) and then shock relocation brackets just to keep them! On 37s, stock everything else. STILL rides great!
Great idea! Maybe I’ll get lucky and find someone wanting to trade

I was in a 2020 Diesel ZR2, best handling truck I've ever driven, that MultiMatic suspension is awesome. I had DEF system issues too many times and decided I'd come back to Jeep, there was only one comparable option when it comes to handling, that's the Mojave! It still won't be ZR2 nice handling but for a Jeep of the showroom floor it is pretty decent!

As others have mentioned you can always toss the AEV lift on there and some 37's if you want it to get bigger and keep the factory suspension :)

Want to trade? 2020 Max Tow, hardtop, God's chosen color (orange) 34k miles. Regeared to 3.88. I've been looking for a ZR2.

Small lift, Vertex Reservoir Shocks, bumpers, lights, winch, etc. etc. My loss, your gain and so on.
Thanks for the offer but no thanks.

Why would you regear from 4.10 to 3.88??

Well, this may have to wait a little bit. After I talked to the dealer yesterday they removed the dealer discounts on the website, making the Mojave jump in price by over $5K. Not as compelling now. I'm sure those discounts will be back later in the year.

I like my Mojave, however when it comes to rebuilding shocks and jounce bumpers it has me second guessing my choice. It rides nice with the AEV 2 inch lift and 37 KO2's. I have followed Rubicon's 95% on 15 + trails that I have done

You have 2 options with rebuilding that make it a lot quicker:

1. Buy a used set of shocks ( I paid $300 ) and send them off for rebuild. They're ready to go for you.
2. Another company has an exchange program where you pay a deposit, they ship you rebuilt Mojave shocks, and they credit it back when they receive yours.

Simple.

I agree with what everyone has posted about if you're going to rock crawl or need more towing, then get Rubicon. However, couple other things about the Mojave - it comes with a larger radiator, and a larger alternator up front, and has an extra 1 inch lift over the Rubicon. And as has already been mentioned, the Fox shocks and suspension are great. It sounds like you're mostly using this in the desert. I think these are things to consider.
I absolutely love my Mojave. I've off roaded it in both desert and mountains, and it has been awesome. But no rock crawling!

Don't think so regarding the radiator. The alternator used to require tow and/or aux switches but one/both of those may be standard now. Tow would also get you the 850w fan versus 600w. My fan install thread shows the differences:

You know what, you are correct about the radiator. I was mistaken. I could swear when I was doing my research comparing vehicles a year or tow ago, that the mojave had a larger radiator. But . . . not so apparently. Thanks for the correction.
