Good luck with that. EGR has been around since the 1970s and is a way to lower NOx emissions. Even some hydrogen engines use it - which is rather telling, and pisses off my friends who believe that hydrogen is 100% naturally clean and uses nothing else to clean it up.I'd rather they get rid of EGR and keep the auto-start-stop
there's really almost no way to get past the emissions standards without EGR. We're 50 years into EGR - not sure how else they'd handle part throttle combustion chamber temps and so on.
