While this is true, apparently we also bought the wrong truck to tow 2k lbs thanks to the inadequate cooling. You guys bought the wrong truck for towing loads like that
Towed my new (to me) 1973 Safari Airstream through some pretty steep mountain passes last week. ( Penticton BC to Saskatoon Saskatchewan through the Crowsnest Pass)
I encountered a couple instances of limp mode due to
"Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost
Control A Module Performance
DTC code: POOAF"
Trailer weighed at roadside scale read 1790kg (4,000lbs)
Willys eco diesel 3.0 with Trailer Tow Package inc Heavy-duty engine cooling ( which I assumed meant oil cooling)
8speed auto trans
pulled and handled great most of the time.
brake controller worked groovy.
now to figure out if the stressed out turbocharger is in need of service or if my oil hitting 123° Celsius ( 255°F) was a significant contributing factor.
