But your inverter works correct? There must have been a wiring change which is not depicted in our service info.

Yes it does. My 115v outlet in the back of the center console works. And my neighbors Gladiator with the Cargo and Trail Rail option doesn't have the fuse either. My dealership is waiting for Jeep engineering to get back with them. I'll post their response when they do.

Now I have the challenge of connecting the JScan cables for the OBDII Port. LOL
I ordered the bypass cable and the vGate OBD Reader and I'll see if that works tomorrow.

Did you try it yet Bill?

I’m out of town presently so when I looked I wasn’t keen on twisting under the dash to plug in the cable. So when I get back I guess I have to find the cables and plug in to use JScan.

I saw the post of the bloody thumb. Should have told you to wear a pair of these Specialty 0.5mm Coyote | Mechanix US Did you get it hooked up, and did it work? Inquiring minds want to know.

Yes, believe it or not, I finally got it. A lot of sweating and swearing. Ha! I was thinking about you when I finished. I'm gonna send you my cell before you start so you'll have a worst case life-line. Yes, wait for cooler weather like you planned to!

Benny checked my VIN and there's no option to initialize the 115v outlet. If you use a Taser or JScan then you can do that yourself. I went with JScan software for $24, the OBD security bypass plugs $12, and a VGate bluetooth OBD reader $32. So, with the kit I'm $300 in.

If I remember correctly, you already have your plug out? That's a 50/50 thing. Some are right behind the light switch and some are behind the speaker. Installing the kit's not bad. The plug goes in easily and the wiring harness is like any other wiring harness. A pain to get the harness disconnected but otherwise an easy job. The hardest part was the OBD II Security bypass cable. Those connectors are in a tight place above the OBD plug. It took me over an hour to unplug and replug those. I would recommend buying the extenders so that, if you decide to do any additional programming, you'll be able to reach the plugs.

Congrats on getting it done and working. Plugging into that Secure Gateway is a challenge in the 2024+ model years.

Love those last 3 URLs for installing the SGW cable. Very useful.

I have not found the plug yet, but given that others with a 2024 JTRX have it, I will eventually find it. I already have a TAZER, an OBDLink MX+, a JSCAN license so I am good there. I will use JSCAN to activate since that is a permanent solution as opposed to the TAZER.

I also have the Z Automotive SGW Extension cable plugged in - well worth the $30 it cost and all the cursing to install it.

I have a small ratcheting philips head offset screwdriver, hopefully it will work for some of those dash screws.

Looks like all I need is the kit from Benny @AllMoparParts.com, some spare dash/speaker pod screws, lots of patience to take apart that side of the dash, and some cooler weather. Brutal outside today with the humidity. I am targeting October.
