Well sounds like I found my somewhat lacking cooling performance. Has to be that cabin filter .The cabin filter should be replaced frequently. Most likely more than once a year. I do mine every other oil change. There is a lot of construction in DFW, so dust accumulation doesn’t take very long on these filters. I’d also recommend a headliner of some kind. My plans are to use some sound and heat adhesive sheets on the top and then a coverking headliner over that. Then adding armorlite flooring to replace the carpet. Texas heat stays around 100+ in most summers and the humidity is over 60% most days, up to 100%.
Yea, I know what you mean (I'm in Key Largo). My JTR chills off quickly too, in about a minute it's a noticeable drop in temperature. Air works really well. Mine is also white with the headliner which makes a difference.Heat index was 109º a few days ago in South Florida..The inside of my truck feels like the arctic. If my A/C works in Florida heat you have nothing to worry about.
If I’m not mistaken Largo was at 112° indexYea, I know what you mean (I'm in Key Largo). My JTR chills off quickly too, in about a minute it's a noticeable drop in temperature. Air works really well. Mine is also white with the headliner which makes a difference.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.Wow it ain't even white .. yep @Zachanadandy was right ✅️ thanks guys forgot all about that son of a gun.

That was actually one thing I was concerned about when buying my Rubicon earlier in the year. Mine is basically loaded with most options that the X has but mine has the black fabric seats. My wife has a BMW with the leather and even though they are a lighter, almond color leather, they are still HOT when you first sit on them, especially when wearing shorts (as we do most of the year here). I can't imagine sitting on the dark brown leather that BMW offers. Anyway, I saved a few thousand and bought the standard Rubicon with the fabric seats. No regrets here. The Gladiator I got in May is my first Jeep with leather seats. Not fun in Louisiana heat!

But it's a dry heat. Yea, that's what everybody told me that lives in the West (NV, AZ, etc.). I was in Phoenix several times and once it was, actual heat (not "feels like") 118 degrees. Dry heat? Yea. I live in South Florida, but 118 nearly baked me. I told them, "dry heat, ok, I put my head into the oven, that is dry heat too." I thought I was going to pass out.Out at work we have hit 115, it drops about 10 degrees on my way back into town.
I'll take 115⁰ and no humidity over 90⁰+ and 90% humidity any day.But it's a dry heat. Yea, that's what everybody told me that lives in the West (NV, AZ, etc.). Yeah I have been in Western Colorado and 110 and was like this ain't to shabby ..I'll take 115⁰ and no humidity over 90⁰+ and 90% humidity any day.
