Hi all,

I have some of the worn out boot AEV links from the 2" JTM lift kit, now looking to replace them with something that will last a little longer.

Trying to find something plug and play, don't need disconnects really.

Synergy, I don't have the backspacing with my AEV Salta wheels (annoying issue that keeps coming up.)
Icon need to drill out the sway bar
Evo, have to drill out the sway bar.

Are there other options I should look into? Maybe just ask AEV for new ones and see what they charge?

before you make this decision are you 100% sure you couldn't benefit from a disconnect? You don't need to maximize articulation for a sway bar disconnect to make offroading a much more comfortable experience.

I have a set of longet front sway bar ends that I THINK come from the mopar lift kit. I put them on to re center the sway bar after putting in a 2in spacer lift.

IF you run into a scenario where you need "disconnects" just carry the tools to disconnect the sway bar end link from the axle side and then zip tie them to the sway bar so they stay out of the way.

My front AEV (boot) links that came with the 2" spacer lift wore out after less than a year (rears are not looking that great either). Disappointed to say the least. I tried sourcing the Mopar links used for their 2" lift and they were out of stock everywhere I looked. I found Clayton front end links in stock on their website and that is what I went with. Pricey, but they really look like they will last. My sense is they are for jeeps with a bit more lift, but they worked for me by cutting them down to the the 2.5" lift recommendation according to their instructions. Gives me just a touch of angle up on the sway bar which I think is ok from what I have read on this forum. Better than too much angle down and have it flip on me!

This is what I was going to suggest. probably easiest/cheapest option. If you have the tools btw, drilling out the sway bars were really easy, they're soft. But doesn't sound like you need to go through all that and spend more money on heavy duty Icon/RK/evo etc links.

Any chance you have the lengths on those? May just go this route for the $ for the time being. Just want to confirm lengths are close enough.

I just noticed the exact same thing on my AEV end links after less than a year. Did you ever contact them to see what they had to say?

Here you go. All boots look the same.

That is pretty nasty. Installed a AEV 2.5" lift on my 2022 Rubicon JT and was also not impressed with the end links. I just ordered the end links that came in the MOPAR 2" lift kits and called it good as they are the same quality as the OEM ones. Kind of disappointing the premium AEV markets their kits as, that they go cheap on stuff like this.

I submitted them for a warranty replacement over a week ago...and still haven't heard a peep from them.
