Hi. Hopefully this is a simple question for someone. I am installing the Mopar AUX switch in my Mojave and I broke 3 of the pins off the wiring harness while passing it through the firewall. These are the pins that will go into the plug that connects to the back of the switches.

What are these pins called and what is the proper way to fix them?

Here is a short thread on the part(s) related to the connector shell and pins. The Mopar replacement is expensive.

I looked through my receipts and found that I odered a new shell and sockets. I had to snip off the old sockets and crimped on new ones.

You can search for mx150 crimper. There are several brands that will work and a bunch that say they work. I have a Delphi crimp tool that works on molex mx150 pins and sockets. You will need to match your tool for the gauge wire. A multi gauge tool may be best. Over crimping will break the wires. Undercrimping will come loose.
