You can back them off for street, or preload them for heavy HP, or adjust them to just clear the springs.Make it ride rougher ?? Always wondered about those thingsI had some excess 400 horse stuff but was heavier vehicles so not needed in my case
They can make noise if you adjust for traction.
They also want you to remove the front spring bushing and put in their aluminum one to replace the rubber one. I did not do that. I made rings to go over the center sleeve of the rubber bushing as sort of a compromise.
