My apologies if I should have posted this in another forum. I was just curious as to what everyone thought of the 2025 Rubicon wheels. When I first bought it, I figured I would definitely go with aftermarket wheels. The longer I have them, the more they are growing on me. Part of me is considering doing a 1.5 Teraflex level and running the factory wheels for a while. This is purely for aesthetics. I do have that mentality that it’s a jeep , and I need to make it my own. Perhaps I should be more logical about it. Ultimately I know it’s my decision, I was just curious if anyone was happy with these wheels.

They are good looking wheels. If you never plan to go to larger and wider tires, they are fine.

I think there is always the itch to go to something else though from what came factory.

I liked my 22 JTRD factory wheels just too narrow for my 37s, so they're on my Offroad trailer now with the factory Wildpeak MTs.

I would have kept my stock Mojave wheels, but they are just too narrow and have too much backspacing for larger tires. If they would just put 9" rims on these things, most people would keep them, I think.
i absolutely would have kept my 2022 Mojave wheels were they 8.5 or 9 inches wide. They were simple but looked nice.

I'm not a fan of them, but I am also pretty boring these days and if they were on my truck I'd probably never replace them, because well they are round and hold the tires and that's about the qualifications I need out of a wheel.

If I come across a set someday for cheap, I may get the black Mojave wheels for my truck (the ones circa 2022 or so, I'm not sure if they changed them yet or not). But I'm not purposely hunting for them. Those are one of my favorites.

I think they look great. I also think most aftermarket things don't...so there is that. As far as fitting larger tires on the OEM rims goes, there are 35" options (the MT Baja Boss is what I have currently on my OEM Rubicon wheels), but for 37s and up you might run into issues.

I like those wheels. My 23 JTM came with the optional wheels and I kept them because they look good enough for me. Yes, they are 7". Yes, they will work. Currently 17000 miles with 37x12.50x17's.

Thank you for your replies. I’d say this biggest tire size I would go with the stockers is a 35 x 11.5, which should be ok with the stock width. Ya’ll have definitely given me something to think about.

The manufacturer's site for any tire you choose will most likely have a chart for approved rim width as well.

But, as mentioned earlier, there are plenty of folks running wider tires than what is technically approved with zero issues as well. Good luck!

My JTRD wheels rub with 35" tires.

Once I get the lift sorted out, I'll be going with method bead grip wheels and 37 trail grapplers.

I have the 23 JT wheels with the stock 33" tires with a 2.5 lift and they look fine. When those tires wear out I plan to put 35" tires on the truck and that is it. You can spend yourself out of a truck trying too hard to fit in with the crowd.
Also 35" is plenty unless you plan to big time rock crawl otherwise you run the risk of damage to axels without regearing etc. Also 35" is max for spare under truck.

I did not like the wheels when I first got it. I like the wheels on the Mojito Mojave a few posts above this better. But the Rubicon wheels did grow on me. But then I found a set of takeoffs that I had to have! What’s interesting is that despite how much more I’m in love with these extreme recon wheels, it’s arguable that the stock wheels picture better.
