This area on the top of my dash is flaking . It’s a 2020. I wish they would make a better product. Any suggestions for a fix ?

That almost looks like it's been touched up before.
NY shouldn't have a problem with UV at all.
Use SEM, not ordinary paint. It's made to expand and contract with vinyl and plastic.

I've had 40 year old car dashes that held up better than that. Can't say I've ever seen one flake - ever. They are usually not painted, but made in the correct color so they don't need a color layer.

Benny - I am looking at replacing the hood on my 2020 overland. I noticed the your kit says that many parts will be reused to keep costs down. Will I have all the correct parts by using my stock non 392 hood as the donor

Hi Jimmi,
Yes assuming all current hardware is present on your vehicle the kit includes all parts that are 392 specific. Note that the hood is not functional in the sense that it does not and cannot connect to a 3.6 airbox unless you fab something custom up.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,
- Benny

I saw a Wrangler with the factory installed winch.
It had two fillers between bumper and grill in place of the normal long one that goes from frame rail to frame rail. It also had brackets on the bumper that held those filler strip sections.

Are those pieces available?

Yes, you can buy a 24 or 25 JLU with a factory installed winch. It's a Warn, but is modified for Jeep with a smaller drum, less rope and smaller physical size. It comes with the short filler pieces.
With no winch, there's one line bumper filler strip across the top of the frame rails between bumper and grill.
With the factory winch, they have two shorter pieces, one on either side of the winch.

Why would they shorten the drum 🤦 :computerrage:

There's a lot of laws, pedestrian safety, collision safety, weight and so on.
People think an automaker can just toss parts as things - not without legal going through everything, the government regs being looked at. In the EU, there are pedestrian safety laws - one reason the bumpers are so different there.
They still had to make their numbers for fuel, safety, emissions, crashes............

They definitely are, there was a member selling a set last year. Tried to reach out but didn't respond for a month so didn't want to risk it when he finally did.

Edit: It was from Maximus not Mopar: https://www.maximus-3.com/product-page/jljt-standard-filler-trim-plates

I had thought those 2 fillers mount onto the frame now if thats not correct then I think your saying they mount onto these Tubular sections shown below?

The fillers DO attach to the top of the frame, but because there's only one attachment to the frame rail, they'd swing or move. So there's a bracket that goes on the bumper that holes the other end - where the angles of the filler are, those go onto bumper brackets. There's some sort of metal bracket that bolts to the bumper and the angled end of the filler screws to that, and the hole in the filler does go to the frame.
