LSD Equipped Gladiators Better Than Rubicon in Snow ?

I have had open , Lockers and LS in many different vehicles over 50 some years and I will take LS any time in snow . If ya feel sliding just drop it in 4wd. No need for traction nanny's either , thats for soccer moms

If there was a way, I'd swap out the rear locker in my Mojave for an LSD unit.
I'll never use the locker, but relied a lot on the LSD in my prior two Gladiators..

I wish the rear locker engaged like the RAM Rebel. Just push the rear lock button and it engages in 2wd up to 20 mph and 4wd up to 40 mph. If you drive over those speeds it disengages and when you drop below the 2wd or 4wd threshold it engages the rear locker again.

The Mohave doesn't have an LSD in addition to a locker? My '06 Rubi LJ had one.

OK. the new Gladiator is on its way. I had to get one with no LSD. I plan to add one. Questions for the group, How much should I expect to pay, and are there any aftermarket units you would recomend over the factory one? I have had a jeep before, with an LSD, and it was a beast in snow and mud, Besides, I sometimes like to steer with my right foot. Really disappointed Jeep does not offer LSD across the whole model line.

The Eaton (Detroit) Trutrac is a nice limited slip. It has helical gears instead of clutches like the factory limited slip.
