First Post be Kind:
I just purchased a 2025 Mojave X. At purchase I wanted to install a lift, but I wanted to retain the stock 2.5" Fox Shocks that came standard. I was recommended the AEW 2" puck lift that would allow me to retain the shocks and give me the lift I needed for 37" tires. I was told there would be a slight rake to it, which I could live with. However, when I got it home in the level garage, I noticed that rake was much more prominent. I measured and there is a 1.5" difference from the front to the back.

My question is, can I add a 1" spacer to the front in addition to the 2" puck that is already in place and still use the stock shocks, or would it be better to remove the 2" in the back and go with a 1" puck in the back? Or are there other options available that I'm not aware of. Obviously, I would rather lift the front, but I'm open either way, I've just never been a fan of the rake and leveled all my previous trucks.

I'm sorry if I missed a thread on this somewhere, but I've been searching for a week now and not finding anything specific.

I run this set up and the rake is only about 1/2” but I also have 4 years and 55k on you. If it was me and I was going to change anything I would get a 1/2” rear spacers and swap out the rear spacers. Stacking them is not a good idea.

You can and Ive heard people who have. But I wouldnt stack spacers personally.

I started with a 1.5 teraflex front only leveling kit before moving to the same AEV 2" spacer lift your referring to. Although I have now upgraded from that to AEVs full Dualsport which does come with new shocks/springs, I never once stacked spacers on the previous 2 sets I had.

Honestly I dont think the rake on the JT is that bad. It may sit differently than mine did maybe since you have a Mojave. But nonetheless.

Thanks everyone for your responses. Since it only has about 400 miles on it at this point, maybe I'll give it a few more miles to see if it settles to a little less rake. Either that or put some sand bags in the back, since we are approaching winter :). But it looks like the concensus is to reduce the rear, which is probably the option I'll choose if it doesn't settle in over a few hundred miles.

Thanks again for all input.

I was in the same situation. 1.5inch or rake on my Mojave after the AEV 2 in spacer lift. I replaced the spacers in the front with Teraflex 3 inch spacers and removed the 2in AEV shock extensions and replaced with Metalcloak 3 inch spacers extensions.

Thanks for the direction. I like this idea better, because I originally wanted to go with a 3.5" lift, but wanted to keep with the stock shocks. This is a great alternative.

Mojave has much less "rake" than others, IMO. I think mine sits pretty level compared to the others I've had.
Mojave already sits higher in the front than the other levels.

if you trust what Jeep puts in their brochures, the mojave is most likely the same height in the rear and .5 inches higher in the front as compared to the rubicon

Brochure states the mojave is (as compared to the rubicon) 0.2 inches higher at the highest point, 1.3° better approach, 0.6° better breakover, and 0.5° worse departure.

You lift the front without lifting the rear, that would absolutely eliminate some rake and worsen the departure angle, so it all checks. and .5 inches in the front with nothing in the rear could easily cause only 0.2 higher at the back of the roof.

I trust my measurements from ground to frame.

I have to stand on steps to get to things that can easily be reached on a Rubicon.

A Mojave sits very level. I'd say mine was perfectly level before the winch and other stuff got added.

I installed a 3.5" lift on my Mojave that had shock extensions and allowed me to retain my stock shocks. Obviously, this limits suspension travel a little, but I was okay with that. I found that after the lift, the front of my Mojave sat higher than the rear, so I added a spacer to the rear to bring it up to level. I've been extremely happy with the results.

Dang, that looks sharp! Colors and all.

Makes sense - my Mojave stock had 0 rake.

It was a SOB wiring the thing for the plow. Everything sits up so much higher trying to get to things that were easy on the others!

I couldn't remember if mine had any rake at all, so I found an old picture. It looks pretty level, even with the winch.

That is one nice looking Gladiator. I don't mind saying I am envious.
