Thanks for the reply. I didn't know jscan/ tazer both have that limp mode reset.

Update: my dealership had a software tech fly out here and "fix" the issue. The tech was argumentative with my dealership and wouldn't explain what he did to the PCM to "fix" this. He tried to imply my gear ratios were not set correctly, also implying I must had done this. Nope. Just the stock 4.10 settings. So its a mystery to both the dealer and I what he did in my PCM.

My truck ran great for one, maybe two days. Now its throwing a break sensor code: P057B. I've cleared it once. Its back. I'm pretty sure this is PCM related to whatever that Chrysler did to "fix" things. I'm going to have to work with Hemifast now. I'm done with the dealership. So done.

I hear you friend. Hemifast solved it and I never looked back. At least you had the luxury of having someone come out and look at it. All I got was - We couldn't duplicate the problem because we don't have a beach to drive the Jeep on, thus there's no problem.

This sux. I haven’t seen any issues in my 2020 M/T Rubi at 50k miles with a CF Clutch …in sand numerous times, in mud, in rocks…. I had the first clutch / computer recall done. I’m never going back to a dealer unless I absolutely have to.
Same, most of the wheeling I do here in south FL is all sand related, not to mention driving on the beach at Jeep Beach..

When i took mine for the clutch recall, I picked it up with m y switch panel activated and rear lock on :lipssealed:

I may have missed it in reading through this post - how did you end up with the most recent clutch software update if they didn’t install the ‘new’ OEM clutch? I had the first 2 recalls done, but avoided that 3rd recall because of all the issues being reported with limp mode, and had the ACT clutch installed.

I bought the jeep off a lot in December 2023. It already 'supposedly' had the recall and clutch done before I bought the vehicle. Regardless, the vehicle would go in limp mode. I rolled the dice, thinking it's the clutch and put the ACT clutch in. Still had issues going into limp mode. Once hemifast did the PCM work, it stopped happening in 4hi. Still does it in 4lo, but I never use that on the beach.
