So, I was trying to level my suspension today by resetting all the bushings and discovered this drip on the front passenger side of my diesel. I have a warranty so the dealership should be fixing this but does anyone know what I am looking at and what parts if any would be a better path forward? Maybe just a gasket but I'll speculate that they will replace the engine and I will be down a vehicle for 3 months. 🤣

Be careful what you wish for, it'll be an engine replacement if it's leaking from the bed plate.

Probably the timing chain cover gasket. I took my eco diesel in for the same thing. Be prepared to have it in the shop at least a month, due to back order on certain parts.

Then they may as well take care of the rust on the hood at the same time then.

Thats what I did too. I had some bubbling from my hood and door. They took care of it while in their. Have you taken care of your HPFP recall yet?

Yes. This was done before I bought it this past Jan.

Posting the update on this as I just heard back from the dealer. My warranty deductible is getting me a timing cover reseal and they are replacing the drag link and tie rod. So, the answer to my question is I am not upgrading my steering equipment as it is more cost efficient to have them replace it with OEM and I get an alignment out of this as well.
