Factory option, you order it with the Jeep. It is BUNDLED with the tonneau cover. can't buy the tonneau cover without the sunrider or a trail package. I had wanted a sunrider anyway, figured this was a good way to get one.
It arrived strapped into the bed of the truck right off the transport from Ohio. It was strapped to the factory bed anchors. It was in a box with the Jeep part number on it, with a Jeep tag on the sunrider itself.
It's on the BUILD SHEET and the WINDOW STICKER.
And - it says "BY MOPAR"!!!!
So @JeepCares and Jeep own this problem.

I’d consult with a lemon law attorney then.

This is definitely a Jeep issue. Bestop is their vendor, not yours in this case. I’d personally get Jeep to refund you the $945, plus tax, and let them take it back. Then buy a Bestop branded sunrider for that money, or less. Then any issues you have will involve one vendor, Bestop.

Yeah, I am with @WILDHOBO in trying to get a refund and then just deal with one entity, Bestop.

You are stuck in a corporate process loop and I can tell you from like experience on a sliding scale of how intrinsic damaging this is to a company for the issue at hand, it is way near if not at the bottom of their priority list to resolve.

I get the principle of making them do the right thing, but I would do a gut check on how realistic that outcome will be?

That’s my opinion. @ShadowsPapa. Bill, you’re right on all counts. But at some point you’re putting so much energy into something that might never be resolved to your satisfaction. I won’t tell you to not have a sunrider. They’re great and you’ll love it. But cut Jeep out. They’re not right, and they don’t deserve to be off the hook, but it comes down to you at this point. As wrong as it is, they don’t care about any individual customer. They’re too big.

It's the Jeep. The same top will fit other Jeeps ok.
3 tops don't fit mine, but Bestop took my original top and put it on a Wrangler and it fit just fine.

I've got the Iowa lemon law form - pretty simple to complete and send to Jeep.
Jeep then has to either fix the problem, or refund the money.

I think that's my next step.

The end result will be no sunrider since even Bestop isn't helping at all.
And I guess that's where it has to end up.

Now even my dealership is refusing any help even though Jeep says it has to go back there in order for a case to be opened.

When you say "refund the money", is that just for the Sunrider or you looking for buy out of the JT and move on?

Since the issue is with the jeep itself, at least shown by Bestop and the fact other new tops don't fit right, I need to choose - money back for the sunrider and move on and do without a sunrider, or something else................ but I've got too much work done on this JT with the snow plow stuff, winch, don't feel like starting over.
I can't see doing the whole truck with the hopes that another one would let a sunrider fit properly.
So - likely - come get their sunrider, give me the money back for it and call it done.

Refusing in writing? Because that would be very helpful to provide to Jeep and bestop.

Have you measured various angles across the rollbar front back side blah blah... is it 'square'? I'm sure you're a carpenter too....

The dealership said "what are we supposed to do? If we order another top it won't fit either."

Weird response - if it doesn't fit, they should open a case! DUH

Even with a customer who buys as many Jeeps as you ...they still don't care. Jeep....never change.

Since about 2016 I figure about $250,000 in Jeeps and Jeep products.
